Very disappointing. We'd booked this tour with our friends however the company messed up the booking, sending the tickets to the wrong guide. It was too late to get replacement tickets and by the time they worked all this out (30 minutes) it was too late to get tickets for that day, and leaving 3 of the 5 of us unable to visit the Cathedral as they were leaving the following day.

Great tour guide for this tour of the beautiful cathedral. Bring walking shoes if you want to visit the bell tower. It’s ramps, and some steps, but it’s 34 levels. I highly recommend a visit!

Overpriced tour with disorganized company. Inadequate audio equipment and inadequate communication

This is one of the worst tours I have been on. The office is not air-conditioned where we needed to check in. The audio equipment is inadequate. I had to use two different devices and two different sets of earphones because they didn’t work. And this was not tested before leaving for the cathedral. The one I ended up with only had one battery line which quickly went to zero lines. If I was not standing on top of the tour guide, all I heard was static. I was not informed that I had to cover my shoulders in advance, and so I had to buy an ugly hot scarf to put over my shoulders in 100 degree heat. Every other tour company I have used has texted or emailed detailed information about what to bring, what to expect, and what to do. The tour guide was OK, but I could barely hear her or understand what she was saying which made the explanations less than engaging. Many people ended up leaving before the tour was over, likely for all these reasons. Highly disappointing.

Be aware online ticket isn’t your actual ticket, you need to go to tourist office and register in person, and late starting due to technical issues

Pro tip: If you can't find a last minute tour in your language, look for a Spanish guide.

Our guide spoke clearly and was easy to understand. Despite being a novice Spanish speaker I found it easier to listen to him than the English audio guide I dowloaded on my phone. The tour covered everything; the tomb of Christopher Columbus, the paintings of Goya and El Greco and access to the Giralda. If you need last minute tickets to the Cathedral and can speak a modicum of Spanish, I highly recommend getting a Spanish guide through Viator when the foreign language tours are unavailable.

Excellent choice for a tour through the cathedral

This was an excellent tour and especially with the knowledge and friendliness of our guide. Skip the line was also smooth and saved a lot of time not having to queue at the main entrance. At other attractions we chose an audio guide but that was a disaster. Way too much information at each stop, plus difficult to hear. Hence advice is forget the audio and take a real person as guide.

Stunning cathedral and knowledge tour guide. Climbing the tower was highlight, an easier climb than most bell towers and the climb is mostly a ramp not stairs.

Our tour started at 11:30 and we arrived on time. We checked in as requested and were given our audio headset. We waited about 40 minutes to be told that they weren’t able to buy tickets for the cathedral. We then asked for it to be refunded. They said we can get a refund and we waited for a refund. They then said told us they were going to get us on another tour at a later time but we all were waiting for a refund. They then said we had to refund through the app. An hour wasted on the tour that was led by Jose Luis. What a disappoint to have the tour cancelled and hour of our time completely wasted. Do not book this tour.

Have to go up 34 flights to the tower in beginning of tour. Tired, hot when the cathedral tour started. Should have done the climb after cathedral tour. Water should be provided.

They cancelled the tour after we waited 25 minutes a huge line with people skipping. No organization what so ever, they did not communicate before that the tour would be cancelled due to construction and a limited number of people allowed in groups. They did offer a refund but we weren’t allowed our tickets into the cathedral.

Very good, but large group and crowds

Loved the Seville Cathedral. Our guide, Manuela, was wonderful. The group size was 26-30 which was too large given the crowds. Headsets worked well, some static. For some reason, our group stood in line 30 minutes to get inside. Our guide said that usually there is not a line. I enjoyed the knowledge and details shared by our Guide. The Cathedral is a main site to visit so be prepared for crowds. We were able to sit after the tour and enjoy the cathedral.

I had an amazing tour with Carmen at the cathedral! She is funny, witty and well versed in history. With 19 people on the tour we were all entertained and kept good pace. 10/10!

Our guide Carmela was excellent, vibrant, funny and shared alot of interesting information with us. She spoke very clearly through the mic! Skip the line is a must! The only thing i would suggest is to give a little bit more time for people to take pictures at each stop but even that is not an issue since at the end of the tour you are still in the courtyard of the cathedral and can go back in to review everything in your own pace.

Tour organisation very poor - no one had bought the tickets apparently so no skip the line and on the 11.30 scheduled tour we were still waiting outside the cathedral at 12 with no clarity as to whether tour could happen before 2. Wireless headphones were terrible quality so hard to hear anything anyway. This was a fault of the organisers not the tour guide

The meeting point is quite a way from the cathedral so you have to leave plenty of time. The guide went very fast at first and we found it difficult to keep up as my partner uses a walking stick. However once we were inside he was very knowledgable and informative.

Buyer beware. Our entire group couldn’t get into the cathedral because they didn’t actually have the tickets. When we went to get in line at the church, they were told they can’t buy the tickets. Was a big waste of time and we ended up going in on our own, but wasted two hours on the whole ordeal. They also had issues with their audio systems that took 20-30 mins to sort out. Avoid this company.
