You can see the amazing historical buildings much much better just walking. The river tour was not a good display of the history at all. Yes, a pleasant river ride on a sunny day but nothing notable.
Difficult to understand the commentary which was delivered too quickly and difficult to know exactly what we were meant to be looking at

I have taken many Viator tours and this one was not that good. The tour had no narration in the first hour so we did not know what we were looking at. Then when the narration began, none of the four in our group could understand what was said. I asked for a beer for my one free drink and it was a mini size beer. I went to purchase another beer and the first 3 staff I asked didn’t understand English or didn’t know if additional drinks were available. The food wasn’t very good either. They must of have 50 guest or more on board and there was barely enough room to squeeze into the bench seating. On a very hot evening, sitting shoulder to shoulder was hot and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this tour.

1st: When the cruise begins, an introduction is given; since it is a round trip, we let passengers relax and enjoy the appetizer on the way out, and the commentary is provided on the return leg as we go back along the same route.
2nd: The beer served comes in the small bottles that you considered too small; there is nothing I can do about that.
3rd: All crew members are fully aware that we have a bar service.
4th: I see you don't understand Andalusian food. What you ate was *Jamón Ibérico de Jabugo* (considered by experts to be the best in the world), and the cheese was a protected designation of origin product.
Regarding the boat being nearly full: do you want me to apologize for being chosen by so many customers? Fortunately, customers value what we offer—something no one else on the river provides. And if you like, you can blame us for the heat in Seville, too.
This tour was only very average. English not very good and far too loud to hear clearly. Very small beer and only in bottle.

Thank you for sailing with us. Honestly, it’s hard to get it right: if the volume is low, people complain, and if we turn it up, they complain too. The beer comes in small bottles; we can't have a draft tap on the boat. I see that instead of relaxing and trying to enjoy the tour, your mission is to criticize. Well, we can't please everyone.
Terrible, I was not able to find the directions based on the app and nobody replied when I called, nobody was concerned enough to call and see where I was. I’m a veteran user of Viator and this is the first time this has happened, very poorly organized.

Good afternoon. I am sorry to hear this, but a WhatsApp message was sent to you on the 8th informing you that, due to boat maintenance, we could not sail on the 14th and 15th, and offering the option to take the tour on the 13th or 16th. You never replied to that message, and a refund has been requested for you.
Surprisingly not great! Not scenic and really hot. Maybe a night cruise is better?
Honestly, it was hot and I just wanted to get off the boat. the best views of Sevilla are not from the river

First of all thank you for sailing with us. Whether the scenery from the river is attractive is a matter of taste, but regarding the heat—which was intense not just on the boat but across all of Seville—I don't think we can be held responsible for that.
Definitely not worth the money.
First of all, there wasn't much to see. Second the server was also the tour guide and her English was terrible, combined with a bad speaker, none of the English translations could be understood.
Finally, their tapas consisted of only a platter of cheese and Ham. All in all, do NOT recommend.

Regarding your comments on the tapas: what you tasted was Jabugo Ibérico ham—considered by experts to be the best in the world—and cured Manchego cheese (a dish that would have cost at least €12 in any bar), and you neglected to mention that a drink was included as well. As for the crew member's English being terrible, that is your opinion, and I will not comment on it. Regarding the sound system, the issue has already been resolved; we have installed new speakers. As you likely noticed, the tour is a round trip: on the outbound leg, we welcome passengers and let them relax and enjoy the scenery, while commentary on the sights along the river is provided on the return leg. I believe that, in addition to offering a different perspective on the views, the boat trip is also designed for relaxation. Perhaps you were already familiar with everything we explained, which is why you didn't learn anything new. As for the vegetarian option—where the plate includes more cheese than the others—it is not my fault that you do not like Jabugo Ibérico ham, which experts consider the best in the world.

Only a few seats facing forward, majority sideways so a third of passengers facing in towards the boat.

The host (man) was nice, but his wife didn’t allow us to sit together on the boat and she didn’t smile. Also, the food that was served got 7 of my friends sick and having diarrhea after eating their ham and cheese they gave us. It might have been old. Nice scenery otherwise

I usually thank people for sailing with us, but I won't be thanking you. You are being untruthful; there were already other customers on board when you arrived, and it isn't our fault you couldn't sit together. We aren't going to make other customers move just because you want to sit together had you boarded among the first, you surely would have found seats. Furthermore, you didn't eat a ham and cheese sandwich; you were served a platter—shared between every two people—of hand-carved *Ibérico de Jabugo* ham (considered by experts to be the best in the world) and aged Manchego cheese with *Denominación de Origen* status—a platter that would cost €12 in any bar. We get fresh supplies twice a week, and I will not tolerate claims that the food was spoiled; we have been in business for 10 years and have NEVER had a quality issue.
Lovely jaunt down and back on the river. Drink and a little snack. They tell you a bit of history and sights to see. It was our guides 1st day. She did well.

We should have read the reviews first before we booked. The narrator came on towards the end and the speaker is terrible and it is impossible to understand. Probably better to find another tour company.

There are better river boat cruises out there, this is not one of them. They do provide a river cruise, a drink and a small tapas plate as advertised, but the entire experience was unpleasant. I was on a 8pm cruise, still too hot to take a cruise in the summer with the evening sun baring down on us. The boat seemed to travel at the same speed as the breeze so you felt no relief and were sweltering. Only in the last half of the cruise did someone come on and try to explain the sites in both English and Spanish, but you could not hear what the person was saying. We passed several boats who's passengers seemed to be having a better time than us. This was a disappointment.

First of all, thank you for traveling with us. Regarding the heat, you were in Seville in August. As you can understand, we are not to blame for the heat. We cruised at 4 knots, which is the permitted speed on the river. What you call a small tapa was actually Jabugo Iberian ham, considered by experts to be the best in the world, and aged Manchego cheese with Protected Designation of Origin. The drink was the one you chose. The tour offered by all companies is a round trip. On the outbound journey, we serve the drink and the tapa and let you enjoy the views. On the return journey, we go up to the terrace, and I give the explanations in Spanish, while the guide speaks in English. I don't know why you say you didn't understand them. Best regards.
I really enjoyed the boat ride. I booked the 1.5hr ride with snacks. I saw some reviews saying the boat ride was mainly through industrial area. There were some places that were industrial, but I felt the majority of the ride was really pretty and almost the entire river is lined with greenery. The ride was approximately 1.5hr. The tour came with a plate of ham (I think) and cheese to split with one other person and one drink. My My biggest complaint is that I could not understand the audio at all when the guide was explaining what we were passing, but I did enjoy just taking in the scenery.
A really relaxing (and cool) one-hour trip on the river in the heat of the afternoon. Much appreciated. Drinks available throughout at very reasonable cost.

It was a nice cruise, but when the guide started to tell us about the buildings and history etc, the speaker was so bad that we understood nothing (in Spanish or English - so it wasn't a languages barrier). The sound of the speaker was overrun by the engine of the boat. Also, the cruise itself took just over 40 minutes and not 1 hour as advertised. Instead of charging €15 per person, this should be priced at €8 at most!
Staff were polite and welcoming.

The address for tour is not accurate. Uber driver and Apple Maps could not locate it. Tried to message Viator for directions but got NO response. Called. Rep did not speak English and had loud music on. No help. DO NOT book. I am a regular Viator customer

Every other customer arrived, so it is clear the address is correct. If you follow the directions Viator sends, you shouldn't have any trouble finding the meeting point. I understand your frustration at not being able to find the location, but I find it VERY UNFAIR that you blame us; fortunately, customers realize the truth when they read the reviews.
It’s a lovely way to see the city from a river perspective. Delicious Iberico ham and Manchego cheese appetizer and complementary beverage, then a cash bar for additional beverages.
Get there early to find a spot of shade on the upper deck. It does get very hot on the inside deck.
We had two tour guides: one spoke in Spanish and the other in English. It was her first day on the job and she is still learning English language so we had some difficulty understanding her. But overall, good effort!

They changed the time of my reservation from 5:30 to 6:15 via WhatsApp. I answered and confirmed that was ok and then went on to change my dinner reservations and rearrange my other plans for the day to be accommodating.
The day of they reached out to me that I never confirmed the new time but I have the WhatsApp conversation to show I did and they were being a bit strange about the whole thing.
About 2 hours after that, I was getting ready to go and they cancelled on me. This was less than an hour before the tour, I was about to leave the hotel to go there.
This was after I had already rearranged my plans for the evening so I then had to scramble to find something to do in that time. It was really inconvenient and the whole thing felt unprofessional.

We occasionally host rowing or canoeing competitions in Seville that require a section of the river to be closed off; consequently, all the companies have to divert toward the port area. That area is actually interesting in its own right—as we are Spain's only inland port—though, as you noted, it does not make up a large part of the route. I am sorry that your trip happened to fall on one of those days when the river was restricted. Best regards.

I booked an English speaking cruise but it was bilingual, 60% Spanish 40% English. As not as much was covered in English by the time it was the sight was well in the distance and some not even mentioned.
Cruise was shortened due to a river event so to fill the time did the same stretch 3 times! So unlike other reviews was 1.5 hours as advertised.

9 of us walked down to departure point to find no boat. We waited and then got a call 10 mins after departure time saying trip was cancelled as boat was broken down and they'd rebook us on the evening cruise, we already had plans for the evening so were left very disappointed. I feel they should of called earlier as they would of known before this that the boat wasnt working.
