Make your own way to the Santorini village of Megalochori and meet your host and small group of fellow travelers in a centrally located restaurant. After introductions, grab your utensils, roll up your sleeves, and get ready to start cooking.
While your host explains what they are doing, and provides expert advice on technique, each member of the group takes turns preparing a selection of classic Greek dishes for lunch or dinner, including tzatziki and pasticio (a baked pasta dish.)
Once your group has made all of the dishes, sit down together and enjoy the fruits of your labor with a glass of Greek wine.

Chef Cristos was entertaining. He's funny and very particular. We had a large group of family ranging all ages. His class was a highlight of our trip and really got our vacation started off right. This class set the tone for us to slow down, enjoy our environment, and soak up the fun. Everyone loved the things we learned to prepare - they were all delicious - and we've already made them since we have come back home!

The chef was condescending and rude. I had messaged the chef inquiring about gluten-free options for the class, as 1 person had severe celiac disease. He assured me he would accommodate the gluten-free concern. When we arrived and enquired that the food was safe, no arrangements had been made for gluten-free food and the chef accused me of not communicating with him. Our family member with celiac disease felt awkward and leftout. If I had not been reassured by the chef in the earlier communication, I would never have booked this experience. The food prepared during the class was too simplistic for the price of the class. We were all disappointed with the experience.

We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
Regarding the gluten-free request, we would like to respectfully clarify that special care was taken for the member of your family with celiac disease. Her food was prepared separately, and her main course was made individually for her by the chef, with attention to avoiding any contact with gluten. We are genuinely sorry if she felt uncomfortable or left out, as this was never our intention.
We also understand your comment about the simplicity of the menu. The dishes served are clearly presented during the booking process. Although some traditional Greek recipes may appear simple, they often require several separate preparations and techniques. For example, the pastitsio alone includes three different stages of preparation and is made step by step during the class.
That said, we sincerely apologize that the experience did not leave you satisfied. Guest satisfaction is very important to us, and we are sorry that your family left feeling disappointed.

Christos was such a gem to find in Greece. By the end, he felt like family. It was such a fun night learning to cook authentic Greek recipes (which were better than any food we have had so far)! If you want a cooking class, this is the one.

Christos was good. Showed us how to make tzatziki, tomato fritters, Greek salad and a pasta with meat dish. The wine at the end was great. If I had to give it one tweek it would be to have the wine during the class - not just at the end- still loved it.

It’s in a lovely outdoor kitchen made of stones overlooking the clock tower; christos uses his mother’s recipes to create such a fun authentic dinner! My husband and I had so much fun and learned so much. Thank you to our new friend!

Christos was our chef. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. I learned three new cooking techniques. I am not a cook by nature, but now I am looking forward to trying some of these dishes at home. The menu was fantastic. I particularly like the tomato fritters and the pastitso. There were anThere were a couple of speed bumps with other participants in the class, but he handled those with Grace. He kept the class engaging and kept us on track making these complicated dishes. There was demonstrations of techniques by him, but we all got to participate in some fashion to make our Kamal meal. Excellent chef highly recommend.

all I did was cut a cucumber and one slice of tomato. I saw other reviews saying the same thing that they only cut two veggies and I ignored it and I wish I did it and ignore their review.. This was not a cooking class… this class was completely underwhelming. And we cut the cucumbers and tomato on a thin plastic cutting board and a dull crappy knife. The guy teaching the class had one burner and one pan and he was the main person doing all the cooking. It was class of about 12 people. And only three people helped stir food on the pan for about 5 mins each. You’re mainly just watching him cook and it wasnt anything crazy either. I did not have a good experience and he kept reiterating that we would get the recipes for the food and I never received any recipes. I would skip this and save your money and do something else. I wasted about 4 hours of my time and money.

Best cooking class I have participated in. The instructor is knowledgeable and charismatic, and the food you cook tastes amazing! On top of all this the class takes place in a beautiful area making it easily worth the price.

First of all, the cooking class was not held in a proper kitchen. It was merely a table with a couple of induction hot plates to serve as the cooking surfaces. With the exception of one member of our group that assisted from time to time with the cooking, we were seated thereby not allowing us to really see what was going on in the pans / pots. The chef concentrated his attention on a young woman to the point of being somewhat inappropriate.
We did learn a couple of cooking tips and the food was okay, hence the reason for the "Poor" and not "Terrible" rating.

A very hands on cooking experience, taught by no nonsense Chef Christos. We were given great tips and reasons behind them. His recipes and methods provided for one of the best meals that were eaten while traveling through Greece and its islands.

READ BEFORE YOU BOOK- DO NOT BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE. This is not a hands on experience. In the 3 hours we were there the only cooking I did was “cutting a tomato.” Please save your money like I wish I had. This seems like a promising experience bc of the reviews but he forces you to review after eating.

The recipes were unique Greek recipes. We were full after eating the delicious food. We got to cut up the tomatoes. That was about the extent of actual cooking. Except one of us also got to help briefly assist in cooking some fritters. The chef was rude to us. The chef interacted with the prettiest girls a lot and was short with everyone else.
He also pressured us to hurry to write a review on trip advisor.

We had the best experience with the Chef, his assistant, and the people in our group. The chef took time to explain certain cooking techniques and allowed us to be a part of it. Don’t be fooled by some reviews that the chef is rude. He teaches you the proper techniques and corrects you if you are doing it wrong. Food we prepared was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Again I highly recommend!

The food and people make a cooking class great, and both were phenomenal in our class. We made 4 dishes and the chef sent us the recipes (and a bonus recipe!) so we will be able to recreate everything back home when we start missing Greece. We had folks of all cooking levels in here and everyone was successful. In fact, the chef's banter was the best with those who weren't as experienced in the kitchen.
One thing to note if you've done cooking classes before, this was not as hands on as some of the others that we've done in the past. If you wanted to have your hands on every aspect of the food, this isn't the class for you as we took turns on different dishes. We had seats and great entertainment/conversation, though, because the chef is a ham so it really wasn't an issue for us. This is a definite recommended activity, and we had a great time.

Brilliant! Great food., fab chef, very humorous and fantastic tips. More of a partially involved cooking demonstration but only a minor mention and maybe because the class was full. Real good fun and worth every penny!
