Absolutely Amazing Trip From Start To End

We have never travelled to Greece, and Santorini was on our bucket list..I liked the reviews I read online and decided to book skip the cable car. We got a early tender from our cruise and arrived at fira harbour early..our guide arrived about 8.30am and told us where to meet . We were very lucky to get Alex..a guide that was originally from Athens , but now lived on Santorini ..He is the best guide we have ever had, very informative , very knowledgeable . We got a boat over to a dock, and hopped on a very nice minibus .The places we visited were lovely , he took pictures at lovely view points, we visited oiu, beautiful place, we had a hour stop here, then onto another stop where we visited underground caves , then onto a beach with restaurants..beautiful food, very attentive staff..it's one of the best trips we've ever experienced

Fabulous personal experience in Santorini!

This tour was exactly as described, and our tour guide Lisa with bus driver Angelo showed us all the iconic landmarks and made them come alive for us. The organization was wonderful and we noticed our guide kindly help a few of the elders in our group. Our ship was leaving port earlier than others, and the company quickly pivoted and got us an earlier tender, getting us back on board with time spare. Excellent customer service! Especially if you are on a cruise this is a fantastic choice for you. There were six ships in port yesterday, so it was very busy in Oia, but our guide gave us great advice and it was great to see other traditional villages that were much more peaceful!

Driver/guide was superb

Our guide/driver was excellent. As a long time native, whose grandfather grew up in Santorini, he ids very knowledgeable about the history and geology of this island. Our tour with Katarina...

Our tour with Katarina was the highlight of our trip to Europe! She was so sweet and so kmowledgeable. She went way beyond to mske sure we had the ultimate experience. She ran us through tourists stops and knew rhe best places to get rhe pics and then slowed down to show us the true beauty of Santorini. She took us to eat and shop at family busineses. Everywhere we went, people were genuinely thrilled to see her. It was obvious that she's beloved. We can't recommend this tour high enough!

Best way to see the island whilst skipping the cable cars

Got to see the whole island with a small group. Got picked up straight from our tender spot. Communication was very good. Alex 'the drummer man' was our guide, he was fantastic and a great photographer too! As we were on a small bus he was able to take us to smaller villages too which wouldn't be possible otherwise. I couldn't recommend this tour enough

Wonderful Day Trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip with our guide Aphrodite! Excellent communication prior to the trip, her greeting us at the top of the cable cars, and throughout the tour. VA very pleasant communicator, with an upbeat personality that was not overwhelming! Excellent knowledge and insight across the entire island. Nice explanation along the drive and she knew where to go and when to avoid the crowds. This also provided some less congested photo opportunities. We requested a nice local / authentic restaurant for lunch, and she didn’t disappoint! We were delivered to a wonderful spot right on a black sand beach called ‘Agios Georgios’. We wanted some fish, and the waitress took us to the kitchen, opened up the refrigerators, and showed us what they purchased that morning! What a fun experience! An excellent meal! Highly recommend Aphrodite, and she was a wonderful fun guide! They can make or break your tour! Thank you Viator and Aphrodite! Carl & Marty

The whole island tour

If you need an overall tour of the island, this is the tour for you! We visited all the good sites. Each site was given an amount of time and we stuck to that time no matter the weather. Which was a little bit of a bummer for us since it was rainy and windy. But good to know the are faithful to their time. The driver does give you information and then drops you off at the location but does not go with you. It was a good day. Bud was very nice and comfortable and our driver was a skilled and safe.

Very good tour. The guide is very knowledgeable of the island it's history, geography and demography. We visited several castles a beach a wine museum and Oia for the sunset. Great safe driving, great explanations of everything from history to earthquakes and current economy of the island, great photo locations and recommendations

Day tour fun

Christina was a great guide and was so knowledgeable. She helped with any questions people had and was happy to offer recommendations for things to do in the area.
