Top Santorini Day Trips

We booked this tour at the last minute, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our vacation. Akis was a fantastic tour guide. He took the time to thoroughly explain each area we visited, answered all of our questions, and was more than happy to take plenty of group photos for us. He was a pleasure to spend the morning with, and his enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

He is incredibly knowledgeable about the island and provided fascinating historical information throughout the day, giving us a much deeper appreciation for Santorini. He also shared personal stories and insights into his life on the island today (congrats your son!), which made the experience feel especially personal and authentic. We learned so much about the history of this beautiful island as well as what life is like there today. We visited all of the iconic spots, along with one of the best coffee spot on the island. We still talk about those delicious freddo cappuccinos! Throughout the entire tour, Arias made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. He was especially thoughtful in assisting a family member who had difficulty walking in certain areas. His attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism truly stood out. He even made sure we had cold water throughout the day. His driving skills are beyond impresisive! Navigating the busy and narrow streets of Santorini in a large van is no easy task, but he handled it seamlessly. Although we had an itinerary with much to see, he was incredibly happy to accommodate additional sites we wanted to visit. He also easily accommodated a last-minute change in the number of people on our tour As a group of 10, we all had different lunch preferences, which could have been challenging. Arias made a few calls and brought us to the most amazing restaurant right on the beach. The food was incredibly delicious, and the menu was broad enough to accommodate everyone's requests. It was the perfect choice and another highlight of our day. We highly recommend Arias to anyone visiting Santorini. You couldn't ask for a nicer person or a better tour guide. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone in our group had a wonderful experience. He was, by far, our favorite guide and made our time in Santorini even more memorable.

We had an amazing four hour private tour with Thanos. He was incredibly kind and interesting sharing stories and insights about Santorini and life in Greece. He kept our entire family including two teenagers totally engaged for four hours taking us to his village which was incredible and so unique as well as all of the Santorini highlights. He is genuinely the best tour guide we’ve had and cares for you like your family too. We loved every minute of our tour!!

We had a lovely half day trip around Santorini Nefali was a fantastic guide who was friendly knowledgeable and very helpful throughout the day. She made the trip really enjoyable and showed us some beautiful places around the island Our driver was also great although unfortunately I can’t remember his name. Everything was well organised and it was a brilliant way to see more of Santorini in just a few hours Just a little tip if you’re dropped off to view the sunset make sure you have a plan for getting to the actual sunset point on your own. We used Google Maps to navigate to the recommended spots which made it really easy to find our way 🌅 We really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it.

What a great way to explore Santorini from the sea! We were picked up from our hotel and made our way to the port and had no issues getting assigned and on to our boat. Once the travel started, it was amazing to see Oia and Fira from the sea while we proceeded to the hot springs stop. While we didn't find any hot springs, it was great to swim amongst the volcano created islands. There was a slight change from our itinerary that wasn't bad (went to the Black beach in place of the White beach), we throughly enjoyed the event. The food was amazing and the crew was so fun! Overall, we were very happy with our decision to spend part of the day on this tour. A+!

Mary was a FABULOUS tour guide. She is knowledgeable and personable and our 5 hour tour allowed us to find all of the best photo spots on the island. And Mary acts as photographer too! Last stop was at a local restaurant down by the black beach and it was a great ending to our day.

This was an amazing 10-hour tour with our brilliant guide, Gregory. We visited different parts of Santorini and were given plenty of time at each stop to explore and take photos. Gregory has a wealth of knowledge and a true passion for this beautiful island; we learned so much interesting information from him about both local life and history. We were so pleased that we decided to pay the extra fee for the interactive and extremely fun musical show at Symposion. If you are unsure about booking it, honestly, go for it—you will not be disappointed! The included wine tasting was also a lovely part of the tour. We tried some wonderful wines and had the opportunity to purchase them at the end. The sunset in Oia was the perfect end to the day. We had plenty of time to look around Oia before finding a prime spot to view the sunset, and Gregory gave us some great tips on where to go. I couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough, and having Gregory as our guide was the best decision we made! Thank you Gregory!

Our driver for the tour was amazing and took us all over to see all the local spot and a few hidden gems. Would definitely recommend this tour, we got amazing pictures and fantastic gelato, we even found our own pumice to take home. We were underground to look at the homes and where the people of the town live. It was fantastic!
