This cooking class was both informative and incredibly interactive. My wife, our friends, and I had a blast making local Greek dishes, sampling Santorini wine, and enjoying a delicious meal. Chef Sean and Thanos kept the afternoon light and fun. This was a great way to spend an afternoon.

Chef Shawn was a great teacher. Not only did we learn how to cook local specialties, but we also picked up some helpful tips. Lazarus gave us a nice history of the wines that we enjoyed with our meal. It was a very fun experience.

The instructions were clear, the chef made it fun. The recipes were simple but delicious. We made so much food! The estate is right on the water, giving us a spectacular view. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed participating in a cooking class during our trip to Santorini. Due to weather they moved the location to a different winery , but they are excellent communicators. The class was 6 people, or family of 4 and amoeba couple. It was perfect size group for the space and tasks. Aroma Avlis was the winery where the class was held. We did a wine tasting first, then the class. Our 2 teen children had a great time, it did help that there was a patio/ garden area whe the kids could roam wholly we did wine tasting. The 2 resident cats were a big hit too. Chef Chris was an excellent and encouraging teacher. Our son enjoys cooking as a hobby and loved participating in the different tasks. The chef was easy to understand, patient and relaxed. The food was all well prepared and enjoyed by all. The only change would be to offer guests a digital copy of the recipes at the end vs taking photos of the recipe cards. Overall it was a great experience.

Chris the chef was awesome. He was super informative and engaging. The cooking class was more of a taste tester and after we finished we received a full meal of the food we prepared. The food, wine, and vibes was a 10/10!

This is a must do in Santorini. It's in a beautiful setting with the black beach as the back drop. The host and chef were very entertaining and very attentive. We made several traditional dishes and enjoyed it all with wonderful wines. Highly recommend!

What an incredible experience! The chef and Lazarus sommelier were fantastic ~ so much fun as they kept the wine flowing and inspired us all to participate in preparing a delicious (and very generous) meal. They did an exceptional job in organizing and preparing the recipes very efficiently. We all had a blast and made new friends. We highly recommend this as a "must do" in Santorini.

Unbelievable experience. Host and Chef were great. We took a cab from Fira which was a little pricey. Apparently it’s possible to get there by bus. Plan on about 3 hrs.

Wonderful experience in a beautiful setting overlooking the sea. Chef was hilarious and food was delicious and simple enough that we can make the recipes again. The sommelier was friendly, knowledgeable and kept the glasses full! Highly recommend!

The view was incredible but the class, the wine and the food were the real thrill. We have been traveling for a couple of weeks and tried a wide range of experiences and this one was by far one of our favorites! Can’t recommend it highly enough!!

Honestly - this experience exceeded my expectations and more. The team were extremely welcoming and attentive - I was pregnant so couldn’t make the most of the wine, but they topped up my husband’s glass regularly! We prepared a Greek salad each, tomato fritters (these were probably the favourite amongst the group), filo feta pie and finished with a sea bass and potato dish. The quality of the ingredients was excellent and just an overall really immersive, feel good experience. Highly recommend!

Do this tour, cause it's a wonderful experience! It was so much fun!! The size of 12 is perfect! It would be nice to know which property you are going to ahead of time. They use two-we went to Pagonis Estate, which was really nice. I would say Viator should just say "wait outside of Kamara Tours, for your transfers, do not go inside". I went inside to ask about the transfers. The lady said she doesn't have anything to do with transfers for the cooking class!! She was very rude! They book all types of other tours for the island. I went outside. Our Driver, then came from across the Street and said my name. She came outside & starting arguing with him about me!! That all could have been avoided if it was communicated to me, that Kamara Tours was just the landmark for the pick up spot & didn't have anything to do with tranferring me to the Cooking Class!

We waited at the pick up location for an hour and the driver never showed up/the local tour was super slow to respond. Viator refunded our payment and we made other plans for our day but it was a bummer didn’t get to go to the class

Lovely location by the sea, courtyard kitchen and dining, great fun team, well organised. Given the very generous wine topups (I’m sure far in excess of published amounts) this turned into more of a cooking demonstration with a boozy and very tasty lunch. But the 12 strangers we started as all seemed to have a great time, can’t imagine why!

I hosted a retreat in Santorini and scheduled this Cooking Class for my attendees. Chef Sean and Lazarus were fantastic. We learned how to make delicious Greek specialties, enjoyed a wine tasting and sang along to a fabulous playlist. We ate our lunch with a view of the black sand beach. I highly recommend this activity for you and your group.

I cannot even begin to explain how enjoyable this excursion was. We were on a cruise ship for the day and we picked up and driven to the cooking class where we were greeted by Chef Sean and Lazarus. Chef Sean was very informative and the class was easy to follow. Lazarus provided lots of information on wine that was native to the region. We both enjoyed ourselves so much. Class size was small so I really felt like I learned something and the location was beautiful. I truly think if you have time to devote to this excursion, it is well worth the time and money. My favorite thing that I’ve done on my cruise. I don’t have any critiques, it may be the most enjoyable excursion I’ve done through Viator.
