What To Expect
Make your own way to the the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain (Bondinho Pão de Açúcar), and head directly to the entrance marked "Exclusive Tickets" to exchange your printed voucher for an admission ticket (e-vouchers are not accepted). Then board the next cable car going up the mountain, riding in the fully enclosed cabin to the top of the mountain. Your ticket entitles you to bypass the main lines for both cable cars. Skip-the-line admission is also valid for the second cable car, which takes you to Sugar Loaf's summit.
From the cable car, take in panoramic views of the surrounding scenery, including Copacabana Beach, the streets of Rio de Janeiro, and Guanabara Bay. Disembark at the top for great photo ops from the lookout point. If you want a snack or drink, there is a food court and restaurant at the summit where you can purchase a treat.

Skip the line is 100% worth it! You get priority at all points of the cable carts going up and down. They also provide water. It’s gets very busy so definitely would recommend. We did not regret paying the extra!

The mountain itself was beautiful and worth the view, however purchasing directly through here was practically pointless. At the line entrances, I was forced to go to ticket sales to exchange this ticket for one from the official company. Having paid for priority, they still insisted on placing me in the regular line with everyone else. After arriving at the top just before getting on the cable car, the machine showed “access denied” for the standard line, where they then directed me to the dedicated priority waiting area line where the ticket scanned with no issues. This ended up postponing my initial entrance time by over an hour, which caused me to miss the sunset I planned to see. The experience of the mountain itself is worth it, perhaps just find a guided tour or purchase directly on the company website if it allows you to.

It was amazing tour with beautiful view of Rio. The only concern is the meeting point address was wrong. It took us to armi base. Thanks to taxi driver they fix the mistake.

What a superb trip. Amazing views. The skip the line passes were worth every penny because when we came down at 7pm there was a huge queue and the priority access queue was totally empty. Saved lots of time and family very happy.

I would definitely recommend this skip-the-line ticket especially if you’re planning on visiting during a weekend. I went on a Sunday and the regular lines were crazy long, but I only had to wait about 10 minutes for each ride.

Great experience and worth every penny. Viator need to update their website though. You don’t need to print out the tickets. Even customer service says you need to but the location said that is doesn’t need to be be printed.

Great experience, highly recommended. This ticket allow you to jump the queue, there were literally hundreds of people waiting and we just skipped them straight on to the cable car. Great!

By getting the vip ticket. No long waits in lines, there is a special line for you to go and exchange your voucher for tickets and staff were good at pointing us in the right direction. Definitely made it a relaxing and stressful free day.

Showed the front line guy our tickets and we were told to go in a certain line. 30/40 minutes into the line we realized the other people in line did not have “rapido” on their bands. We were placed in the wrong line while having the skip the line band. When we tried to talk to one of the guys the rope untied and he ignored us and just fixed the rope. Asked another worker and she said “sorry about that”. We missed the sunset experience that we booked because we were placed in the wrong line due to them not paying attention. Also watched a guy sneak right into the line as well.

Incredible views and a lot of food and drink vendors so you can enjoy a cocktail with your view. We went on a Tuesday afternoon - they have a live DJ every Tuesday and Thursday for sunset (check the official website for dates, they publish them every month so these days might change)
The “skip the line” option was worth the extra money as everyone wanted to get off the mountain after sunset and if we had to wait in that line we would have been standing there for an hour.

I read many reviews that said this was well worth it, and I couldn’t agree more. I spent over two hours exploring both beautiful stops. Had I not had the skip the line, I would’ve had an additional (at least) two hours of just waiting. There are signs that are marked priority/fast. Make sure you go through those marked areas and the staff will help move you through.

Horrible experience with Viator and the vendor selling these tickets. The system gave me the wrong date when purchasing and I had to purchase a set of 2 tickets. When trying to get a refund for the incorrect date they had no regard that I spent $600USD total and didn’t give me a refund or at the very minimum a credit on my Viator account.

You can definitely get this attraction cheaper at the official website but I couldn’t get my credit card to work. At first there was not a long line and I thought I wasted my money on fast pass but it was definitely worth the money at the other stops. Remember you have lines at four different stops.
