It is not really a tour. Pst Viator tours were really guided tours. Here the guide gets you in and up to the 2nd floor - he then points out some sights and the you are on your own.

The guides gives an introduction about the Eiffel Tower, then he talks about the famous places in Paris. The duration is about 2 hours including the guided part and the free time.

Our guide told us about the history of when the Eiffel Tower was built. How many people it took. How it was financed. Booking a tour is a must to cut through the lines and enter the tower with a short wait.

We went to the top level of the Eiffel Tower, and the experience was wonderful. Of course, the view was fantastic on our sunny day, and going with the group made the experience much quicker, as we went through security and got to the top. Quick and simple with less stress and I was able to simply enjoy the day and drink in the incredible views.

Very disappointing in the female attendee in the Paris office for the Eiffel Tower Tour - she allowed people to take the tour and held us behind- we paid for the summit ticket and she only allowed us the second floor visit. I believe this was racial discrimination, as we had the timed tour.

The met-up location was easy to find. We had a small walk to the tower, but the guide was easy to follow. He was very informative and explained how to navigate the tower once we were on our own. We sailed through security and the entrance with his help.

The tour agency we went to was friendly, helpful, and easy to find. I would suggest giving yourself plenty of extra time as even with the tour, there are so many people and security checks that it took longer than we anticipated. Our tour guide Salome was super awesome!

Positives: our guide, Sol, was great. Good communicator, good knowledge, and interesting information.
Negatives: Ridiculously expensive (not worth it) and pain to meet at location ten mins from tower. Although we tried to advance book one month earlier, all the advance tickets had been bought up by these types of companies that mark-up (a lot) and add in a guide. When we were at the tower, we could have booked identical tickets there and then, without the guide, for 1/3 the price we paid. Felt a bit of a rip-off.
