Fabio arranged our tour schedule so we could visit Oslo city hall before closing and took us to visit the Vigekand sculpture park. We appreciate his special efforts for our tour.

Neil is terrific! Based on other reviews, we requested him. He was highly responsive to our needs, and very enthusiastic and entertaining. He uses his experience as an actor to bring historical events to life with a touch of humor. I highly recommend spending a few hours with him discovering Oslo!

The city has many interesting places to visit; our guide was personable but lacked experience as a tour guide, appearing somewhat confused regarding information, dates, and the city's history. He needs further training. For a private tour at a significant cost, you need someone experienced who knows how to present the city—its history, dates, facts, and important monuments.

We had a wonderful experience with our guide, Madhavan! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating, tailoring the tour to our interests and pace.
In just a few hours, we were able to see all of Oslo’s major highlights while learning about the history and significance of each site. One of the highlights was taking both the metro and the tram like locals, which added to the experience. He also took us to a well-known local bakery for excellent coffee and pastries and even made sure we had time to shop for chocolates and souvenirs to bring home for our family.
As a bonus, Madhavan was also an outstanding photographer and captured some of our favorite photos from the trip.
This was a fantastic way to see Oslo, and I highly recommend both Madhavan and this tour!

Liga did a fantastic job giving us a 2-3 hour walking tour of Oslo. Informative and thoughtful. Be sure to try the waffles while touring. And consider incorporating the sculpture park as well, if time permits. Would definitely recommend.

We booked this tour at the last minute and were very pleased to have Faraaz as our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, engaging and generous with his time and suggestions. We had never been to Oslo and thanks to Faraaz we feel we got a great flavor of the city. We did the three hour tour and felt it was perfect amount of time.

Our wonderful guide, Fabio, showed us many sights around central Oslo. He was thoughtful and informative with some charming stories to entertain us. He listened to what we were interested in and did a great job accommodating us along the way without any prior information. He highlighted sights that would be of interest to each of us individually. He also recommended a delicious restaurant to have Norwegian food and dropped us off there after the tour. Highly recommend!

Neil is a great guide. The two hour walking tour was informative and covered much of Oslo’s main city area and features. His knowledge of history was excellent and his anecdotes were very entertaining. He pointed out museums and other places to visit as well as some good shopping and places to eat. Great introduction to Oslo and Norway.

Not worth the money or time. Amelia was late for the tour and didn’t know about the history or architecture in Oslo. She didn’t seem to have a plan of where to go or any information about the surroundings. She didn’t know the answers to any of the questions we asked.

Our guide Efe personalized the tour to meet our interests. He also set the pace of the tour to our pace. He offered recommendations for food and sites outside the tour . His conversation was informative but definitely not a memorized recitation. We could hear his enthusiasm for the areas we visited and the history and culture of Oslo. He gave us a wonderful view of the city!!

Our walking tour of central Oslo offered a pleasant introduction to the city’s key sights—the Royal Palace, Parliament, the bustling harborfront, and the sculpture-filled parks. The route was comfortable and easy to follow, giving us a broad overview of the capital in a few relaxed hours.
That said, the experience felt fairly standard. The guide provided the basic facts, but the narrative rarely ventured beyond what you might read in a pocket guide. I found myself wishing for a deeper sense of Oslo’s beginnings: how a small medieval settlement became today’s modern Nordic capital. Early photographs or historical maps—something to help us picture the wooden wharf-side town that once stood here—would have brought the city’s past vividly to life.

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Madhavan. He was very knowledgeable about Oslo, government and history. We’re from the US, and we had fun comparing cultures and stories.
While Madhavan suggested it was fine to take the tram, we preferred to walk. 20,000 steps later. We were tired but had learned so much!
