Easy way to find some attractions in Edinburgh . We came off a cruise ship at Queensferry and took a bus to town . The hoho stop was convenient and staff extremely helpful . We took a round , walked the Golden mile and had lunch off Victoria street . Good value and no fuss

This is not a criticism levelled at the tour company but at Viator!
I was checking the app to see if the credit I had from a previous purchase would be deducted before purchasing and during this process the payment was taken from my card linked to the account. Didn’t even know the purchase had been made and now £56 lost. Wrote to the tour operator and no response!!!

There are 3 different bus routes, each one traveling to see some different places, so over 2 days, we went on all 3 routes, and we loved it. On 2 of the busses, there was pre-recorded commentary and on one, we had a very interesting and entertaining Scottish man telling us about everything we were seeing. He had some funny stories to tell and really made for an educational ride. We loved the overview of Edinburgh so we knew what we wanted to go back to later and explore.

This is is a fabulous tour. Our tour guide and driver, Gary, was amazing and entertained us all day with his vast knowledge of Scottish history whilst also making it fun. By the end of the tour we felt like we had known Gary for years as he was just so friendly and helpful.
The Kelpies are just amazing as was our trip on Loch Lomond, which met all our expectations and more. We were delighted to meet the Hairy Coos and our stop for lunch in Callandar was really enjoyable before we went on to visit Stirling Castle.
We had a fabulous day out in the countryside and would highly recommend it.

We loved the Hop on/Hop off tour - a great way to get around to a bigger area without having to walk or take other transportation. Bonus getting to learn more about the areas we saw. The staff were all very helpful and the drivers friendly. The ear buds they provided were really comfortable (we used them on the flight home!). All in all, highly recommend as an option!

We enjoy taking a sightseeing bus in just about every city we visit. We get on and do a full loop then stay on to return to the places we want to explore. The Edinburgh Bus Tour hits all of the most popular/must see and you decide when and where to hop on/hop off. There were three routes to choose from. We took the red and blue headset line and passed on the green route with live guide. It can be a few hour or all day. The drivers were exceptional, navigating us around safely even in the tightest quarters. Enjoy!

It’s very easy to travel from one stop to another and spend your time seeing the sights. If you have several days I would book a multi-day tour, on different routes, to see as much as possible in a convenient fashion. Highly recommend!

We bought our tickets online and hopped on at #2 St Andrews Square. They stated online the tour was 1 hour ten so we knew we would have time to come back and get off at the first stop Waterloo on time for our lunch reservation nearby. Well we went from #2 to #9-15 and then stopped back at Waterloo. We wouldn’t have had time to take the whole tour from Waterloo again so missed out on 2-8 as we had plans rest of day. Very confusing, many buses that are red, would not do again

I always book a tour like this when we land early, knowing the hotel room will not be ready yet. The staff was friendly, the audio tour was easy to follow, and it was a great way to get a feel for the city before jumping into the sightseeing.
