What are people saying about Edinburgh

Blair was awesome!!
Long day but worth every minute. Blair was filled with great facts. He took us to some hidden gems in Glencoe and around various Lochs. We had a great meal at the Clachaig Inn. The drive to the highlands was epic and worth the cost of having a driver who knew how to navigate the narrow roads. Do this one!

Great city overview!
This was a great overview of historical Edinburgh. Our guide Grant was extremely knowledgeable and provided lots of interesting historical tidbits. I also liked that the tour included access to Edinburgh castle. We got a great overview and then had a chance to roam freely. This is a great activity to do on your first day to understand the city!

An marvelously unforgettable day!
Daryl was or brilliant guide and driver. He was so thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. He kept in touch with us prior to the tour to be sure we met on time. He asked what we were interested in and adjusted the route to get us to see the Falkirk Wheel. He knew Scottish history like the back of his hand. His kindness and concern for us all along the way was above and beyond. Thank you so very much for an unforgettable day in Scotland!

Time (and money) well spent
Collin was our guide and made the tour so enjoyable. We signed up for a three hour walking tour and he made those three hours fly by! He was quite knowledgeable about the city and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend him and this tour to others.

Wonderful tour of Scottish Highlands from Edinburgh
August 23, 2026
Our tour guide was Gerry Hughes, and he is an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the locations we visited, and he stuck to the 12 hour schedule. Even so, he was able to listen to our preferences and squeeze in an few extra quick stops we requested.
Gerry suggested adding a boat tour of Loch Ness, and that was a delightful addition to the tour. The weather was perfect, so the beauty of the loch was on display.
Gerry drove very well. He provided an outstanding tour and left us feeling indulged. If I visit the Edinburgh area again, I will certainly sign up for another tour by Gerry.

The BEST Tour Guide in...
The BEST Tour Guide in Edinburgh
Mr. Saf was absolutely fantastic! He was enthusiastic, incredibly knowledgeable, well-read, accommodating, and had a wonderful sense of humour.
Our full-day tour was truly unforgettable. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed his professionalism, fascinating stories, and unique insight into the beautiful and historic City of Edinburgh.
We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and look forward to returning to Edinburgh and experiencing Mr. Saf’s wonderful hospitality again!

Guided tour of Edinburgh in four hours with a running commentary.
Its an effcient and relaxed way of seeing the most places of interest in Edinboro in a short time and at the same learning about the long history of the beautiful city. The traditionally dressed driver with a non stop running commentary for four hours added the local colour.

Magic and Rainbows in the hills of Glencoe!
Wow, wow, wow—five stars all around!
Jimmy was an absolutely phenomenal tour guide and superb driver. We experienced the adventure of a lifetime in a single day thanks to his incredibly well-curated itinerary. From visiting the former home of Mary, Queen of Scots, to Stirling Castle, the majestic Kelpies, feeding Highland cows, discovering rustic waterfalls and a breathtaking ancient loch, sampling delicious Scottish salmon and cheese, enjoying an unforgettable lunch in a cozy Highland café, and ending the day surrounded by the iconic Three Sisters of Glencoe—it was pure magic from beginning to end.
Every moment of the journey was filled with laughter, great conversation, snacks, drinks, stunning scenery, and unforgettable memories.
Jimmy is warm, friendly, and genuinely entertaining, but what really sets him apart is his incredible knowledge of Scottish history, folklore, and culture. You can tell he truly loves Scotland, and that passion shines through in every story he tells. He also happens to be an expert photographer (an underrated but very important talent!), always knowing exactly where to capture the perfect shot. He captured me and my son in the heart of the highlands in an unforgettable lifetime photo with a rainbow! That photo will be framed and sit on my mantelpiece forever.
What impressed me most however was how intuitive and thoughtful he was. We had just arrived in Scotland and were still very jet-lagged. Without me even saying much, Jimmy sensed when my son and I needed a little quiet time to rest, and he naturally gave us the space to relax. That level of kindness and awareness made the experience even more special.
The drive itself was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable, and I felt completely at ease the entire day.
If you're considering booking this tour, don't hesitate. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland, and I would recommend Jimmy to anyone without reservation. You won't regret it!

We loved our walking tour...
We loved our walking tour with Lilia! We learned soooo much about an Edinburgh. It felt like we went at a very nice pace and it was really interactive and informative. Excellent introduction to a new city!! Definitely would recommend. We did 3 hours which was great for enough information at not too fast a pace.

So worth it!!
Ask about the additional route. It costs a little more to do both. We didn’t have time to do the other route by the time we found out about it but we definitely would have if we knew ahead of time. Great way to see the area. Sitting in the top area of the bus is recommended. Depending on weather of course.

A wonderful tour of Edinburgh Castle in the city
Our guide, Hugo was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. We enjoyed our time with him and all of the unique and insightful stories. He had the history of both both Edinburgh Castle, and the city. We would highly recommend this tour, it was a great and unique experience. I think Hugo could’ve gone to whatever level of detail and depth if we wanted at each spot, but there is just so much to see and learn about and he did an excellent job weaving in and out of history through his stories and narrative.
Really can’t say enough about how good this experience was.
Thank you Hugo!

Great experience
Our tour was fabulous! Our tour guide Gain was terrific. very knowledgeable, and we had several laughs along the way. he led us at a pace the two of us could handle given that we both use a cane. we still managed to see so many parts of Old Town even with the sloping streets and the stairs. highly recommend this experience and our tour guide Gain.
