Excellent day trip and a great way to get a quick history lesson and learn the city. I went alone so it was good to explore with a group.

Really great experience. Learned a lot. Potsdam is a cute little city. Walked the grounds. Give it a go.

Excellent tour guide very professional and knowledgeable of the area
Nick is very kind and funny and took the time to explain the transfers to go by , places to eat or shop

This was a lot of walking but we got a good overview of Potsdam and some of its history. Paul was a good guide and informative of the area. Difficult on a hot day with 20,000 steps by the end. Loved the Barberini museum. Didn’t do inside of palace but you would need to book that for a 2.15pm entry to the palace.

Informative, well-planned, good mix of social, cultural, and political history, as well as related, interesting facts about old and new architecture.
SUMAN_S, Aug 2025
History explained by the guide is too descriptive. It may be good who is interested to know details but could be more precise so the trip become more interesting.

This tour is full of a lot of wonderful things to see in such a condensed area. The tour guide was very informative and came with extra pictures.

This tour is so much fun, so beautiful, and full of rich history. Our guide was from Whales and really had the gift of story telling, because there is so much to learn, and I remember almost everything he educated us on. It’s also great because you meet in Berlin, and take the train together, so for people new to Berlin, it’s nice to have some to guide you to bus stops and train stations. The walk through Potsdam takes you through all the most beautiful sites to see, and you can make a note for things you want to come back and explore after the tour.
Sanssouci Palace entry tickets are sold separately, so make sure to purchase your entry tickets and align it with the end time of your tour, because you end the tour at the entrance of the palace. The sanssouci museum is a three minute walk from the palace, and id highly recommend that one as well! You have plenty of time on the tour to grab water, the BEST gelato, a sandwich, pastry or doner kabob, whatever your heart desires. My advice is, to stay in Potsdam after the tour is over, and really take in the sights! So beautiful. Had a great time.

I am glad I took the time to visit Potsdam, a city rich in history. Our tour guide, Paul, offered a lot of information and conducted a well-paced tour. Nice Dutch area with many eateries and shops. A very enjoyable day!

Brilliant guided tour to Potsdam, from Berlin using S7 train. Saw the all the main sites in the Potsdam city with 30min of free time, then remainder of time around the Palace with explanation of history and sites.

We had a wonderful tour with Alex. He was very knowledgeable and personable, and really knew his stuff. He was eager to share his love of Berlin, and the neighborhoods he showed us around. It was a great experience.

We had a fantastic walking tour of Potsdam with Reuben! The experience was both very entertaining and highly informative. Reuben brought the city’s rich history to life with his engaging storytelling and deep knowledge of the area.
Potsdam itself is absolutely beautiful—full of stunning architecture, charming streets, and fascinating landmarks. The combination of great company, a passionate guide, and such a picturesque setting made for a truly memorable experience.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Berlin area—this tour is a perfect way to discover the beauty and history of Potsdam!

Much better than expected. Potsdam is a lovely town and there’s so much to see and do there. Plan to spend the entire day there. Stay after the tour ends. Don’t try to do this on your own. You really need a guide for this trip.

Eran was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide.
Potsdam was a beautiful and interesting city to visit.

Rueben was an excellent tour guide! He was very helpful in making sure we all had the correct tickets and knew our way around the train system to get to Potsdam. Once there we had time to use the facilities and get something to eat before starting our adventure. He gave a very detailed history of the city and each location we stopped at. The architecture was amazing and the history was just as entertaining. We had time to explore on our at certain stops and he gave great recommendations on what to do in the area if we wanted to stay. There was so much to see and do I could have spent another 2 days exploring.

It was great to get the highlights of the rich history of the area. It let us know what we wanted to explore more in depth. The guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant!

The guide was very well up on the Hohenzollern dynasty . And brought Alte Fritz to life

If you are visiting Potsdam, this is a great tour. Our guide Eran made it a fun day and we saw all the sites. Doing it by yourself would be hard work.
Jan_G, Apr 2024
Great tour, well organised and Tobi our guide was well informed and helpful. Wear comfy shoes and take a drink.
Val_Y, Apr 2024
Walking, looking and listening to our guide was a wonderful experience (even without going inside San Succi palace).
We walked on our own after the end of the tour along numerous paths towards the magnificent New Palace. The gardens and palaces' architecture are awe-inspiring.

Paul G was a fantastic guide. Full of information and history. He made it interesting and kept us all heading in the right direction. Thanks from th Chiverton family
Maritza_S, Sept 2023
The content of the tour was good but the tour guide, Eran, was a little sarcastic every time a question was asked. It was a very warm day and he didn’t make time for the group to stop for a drink or bother to ask the group if we were doing fine. The tour went right through lunch with out a break so it was very exhausting. I would recommend that you advise when advertising that this tour goes through lunch without a break. We have been to 27 countries and taken numerous tours and I would say most tour guide try to make sure that the group is doing fine specially on a warm day. There was one young lady who was experiencing sign of exhaustion & dehydration.

Our guide Javier was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, sociable and caring! Great tour well worth it! Potsdamer is just stunning!
Fernanda_D, Sept 2023
We did the tour in English with Jenny and she was amazing! Potsdam is so beautiful and Jenny was right when she said it’s so underrated. It’s a quick train ride from Berlin. Jenny took us all over town, from the park to the Dutch quarter, and we ended at the Sanssouci Palace, highly recommend this tour and also staying after to tour the palace or do a bit more exploring.
Cherry_B, Aug 2023
Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. Learnt loads of facts and saw some beautiful places.
Despite some hiccups with trains being cancelled our guide got us there and extended the tour to accommodate for this.
Ana_O, Jul 2023
Our tour guide, Reuben, was really nice and knowledgeable on so much of the history of the spots we went to on the walking tour. It was a decent value to walk through Potsdam.
