Overview
Go dog mushing in the Alaskan wilderness with this guided experience. You'll head out with racing sled dogs on a 10-mile ride through the woods and over tundra, accessing quiet areas that you wouldn't otherwise get to experience. All the gear you will need will be provided, down to gloves and coats, so you need only simply show up.

Drive south on Parks Highway towards Nenana to mile marker 314.5. Just before the mile marker is “Gold Stream Creek”. Watch for Mile marker 314.5 (left side) and turn right here. Head down this small road to sign “Goldstream Kennel” (~1/4 mile). Turn left and park car next to cabin. ~50min drive.

We booked this tour at the last minute because the other one we had scheduled cancelled due to weather. When I say I’m so glad the other one cancelled I couldn’t mean it more!! Andy and his team were so warm and welcoming!! We had the BEST time!! We will be talking about this tour forever, it was seriously so amazing!!

Andy, the owner is a kind and generous plus extremely professional gentleman. Extremely accommodating. He assisted when our car was trapped in snow. The sled ride was scenic and adventurous filled with laughter and joys. This is a true professional husky ride instead of the commercialized ride so do this and forget all of the others if you truly want a ride of your life time.

What a great day to take a tour on a dog sled. The weather was a little cold but no matter, the staff had no problem accommodating with warmer gear to take the journey. At one point, a staff member offered her own gloves to us to use to keep warm. Would definitely recommend for everyone

I had the most Amazing and Magical Time during my Sub-Arctic Wilderness Dog Mushing tour experience! "Andy"and "Jakob" were great hosts. Their services, magnificent dogs,hospitality, and kindness far exceeded my expectations. I did not want to leave...I fell in love with all those beautiful and sweet dogs, such great athletes! The property and homestead is exceptional. My experience at Goldstream Huskies was truly magnificent. I highly recommend this experience to Everyone. I would love to return again in the future, and will definitely make a point of that. I will forever cherish this memory in my heart!
