Our guide Dax have us an excellent introduction to the history of Adelaide and important figures in its development. We enjoyed the walk through the centre of the city and down to the river. We also enjoyed the ice coffee and snacks he provided.

Dax is an excellent guide and provided a nice historical overview of origins of the City of Adelaide. While he focuses mainly on the past 200 years or so he does bring in some interesting facts about the aboriginal roots of the area. The history of the settlement and evolution of Adelaide is told as he introduces you to the main landmarks of the city. Definitely a worthwhile start to our visit to Adelaide.
