Great transfer
Lukasz was our transfer driver today. He was brilliant. We were picked up on time. He drove so carefully that I fell, which I never do when someone else is driving.
We had an early start and arrived in time to meet the others in the group.
The organisation to get us into the tour was flawless. The tour guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable. He was happy to answer questions.
On the way back we had a bit of a journey and we stopped off for a 15mins break. Lukasz told us of local places visit.
We were dropped back at our hotel wished us a good visit to the area.

Wonderful Polish Food in Wroclaw
Vlada and his selections to introduce you to good Polish food. We did a tour with him 2 years ago and loved it and this time we loved it even more. Every place had a different atmosphere and the food choices he selected were delicious. The vodka was excellent. Polish food has become a favorite of ours due to Vlada's careful attention to his customers likes.

Adam was a superb guide
My husband and I booked this tour for mid September and it was superb, as was our guide.
Adam was prompt, gracious and his English is excellent. The drive was lovely and the castle was stunning. While it is in very good shape, the decor was lacking, but this is due to the Germans and Russians who ransacked it during WWII. You can see how much Poland suffered during the war.
We didn't go into the tunnels because of the hundreds of stairs.
The Palm House was also stunning. One of the nicest greenhouses I ever saw with lemurs and peacocks.
The favorite was the Church of Peace which is breathtaking. Pictures don't do it justice.
We went to a nearby restaurant for an early dinner. It was superb and amazingly Rustic polish. The whole day was a great experience and of the highest quality.

Stalag Luft III visit was memorable
Driver, Mikhail F., on time, lovely car, excellent driver, friendly, thoughtful. Small camp museum provides a lot of information, the re-created tunnel is illuminating, and the barracks provide more info and perspective (e.g., return visits by former POWs). Also learned about Zagan’s role re: German military training and other POW camps.
