Ancient city tour of Eusephus
Our tour guide Esra met us at the cruise port. We walked a short distance to meet our driver in a beautiful ,clean, new minivan. We were driven in luxury to the ancient city and Mary's House. We stopped at a beautiful handmade tile factory and then went to a wonderful carpet demonstration with a fabulous local lunch. Esra was an exceptional tour guide pointing out, many of the highlights of our trip. They tour was very informative and a great value. We highly recommend this excursion.

Great excursion
This excursion at first view looked more expensive than others. But one must take into account what’s included. You get a well appointed spotlessly clean private bus, with a good driver. A very knowledgeable, pleasant guide. Doing all he can to deliver you a great day. Prepaid entrance tickets without the wait. Topped off by a good traditional Greek luncheon. I highly recommend this tour.

Don’t miss this!
Amazing sights to see at Ephesus! Taylan, our tour guide, was very informative. He made sure to give us the information first, and then we took pictures so we knew what we were looking at. Taylan ensured our safety on the uneven pathways, as well as reminding us about crowds. We also saw St. Mary’s house, and the Temple of Artemis. We joined with another group for a typical Greek lunch- great day.

Celsus Library ruins in Ephesus (Efes), Selçuk, Turkey.
  • Ephesus is a must for history and archaeology buffs.

  • Bring a hat, sunscreen, and ample water as there is little shade at the site.

  • Much of Ephesus has uneven, stone surfaces that can make wheelchair access difficult. It is possible to enter the site via the lower gate and to see some of the ruins, including the Library of Celsus.
