Ricardo was lively,...
Ricardo was lively, knowledgeable and very engaged on this walking tour. In addition to the typical sites, Ricardo was able to include access to older areas under ground that were fascinating. We were a group of 14 with different ages and interests. Ricardo kept the tour lively. Thanks.

Great tour with a super fun Guide!
We throughly enjoyed our tour! First off our guide, Alex, was terrific. Super informative, friendly and allowed for great conversations. He was really on it prior to the tour making sure we got there ok and knew exactly where to meet him! A small group of 5 allowed for a real personal visit to this lovely town! Highly recommend this tour and Alex! Thanks ☺️

Walking through Toledo history with an expert
We had an amazing full-day tour with Carmen! She was so incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Toledo history. Carmen asked us about our interests so she could tailor our schedule for the day, and she also asked us if we had any food allergies/dietary restrictions so she could recommend meal options. I have Celiac and she found us a great restaurant for lunch that even had gluten-free beer! Highly recommend this tour and especially Carmen. 🤗

A phenomenonal way to soak up Toledo’s rich and important history.
My family and I really enjoyed and got tremendous benefits from our 3 hour tour with Sonia. She’s a native daughter of Toledo with deep educational and professional tourism experience. She met us at the train station and had a taxi waiting for us. She suggested we take a longer ride into the city to take in 2 important and gorgeous views of the city from outside the walls. This also helped orient us. We requested the tour to include a lot of the Jewish history and some El Greco, so we focused on the 2 synagogues, the Jewish Corner, a recently discovered cave from a Jewish home, the Jewish Quartter and El Greco’e masterpiece. At each stop and along the way, Sonia provided rich details and pointed out good places to return to on our own later in the day. I highly recommend touring with Sonia or another local guide. It would have been helpful to go to the Cathedral with Sonia as well, however, we didn’t have time due to our other priorities.
The tour company reached out in advance, soon after I booked, with other helpful tips including suggested restaurants and train booking encouragement.

Incredible tour of Toledo lead by Valle
Valle was an incredible tour guide. She met us at the train station and took us on a panoramic tour of the city so we could appreciate its beauty and grandeur. Her knowledge of the city’s history and Spanish history was really deep and helped us understand and appreciate what we were seeing. Highly, highly recommend this tour.

Toledo walking tour
Tour was fantastic, we actually were delayed coming from Madrid and they allowed us to join a later tour since we missed our initial reservation.*Note- buy train tickets from Madrid to Toledo in advance. Tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and could have told us much more had the tour been longer. Passionate about Toledo and its important history. He also gave us tips on where to eat in less touristy area. Thank you!

Excellent tour , Sarah, our guide was wonderful!
This was an excellent tour. Sarah was very friendly and open to questions; the tour gave us a well organized walk around so many of the sites including very informative look at the inside of the cathedral - which is massive. She had lots of interesting stories and pieces of history that made Toledo’s complicated life by history come alive and not be boring.
As we walked she shared tidbits and practical suggestions of how we might further check out places , museums, churches etc on our own time if we were staying in the city a few days. Our small group of 5 had lots of questions about current situations and family life etc. which she was very helpful in giving us insights as she has grown up in Toledo in multi-cultural family. We really appreciated her suggestions of identifying authentic restaurant experiences and avoiding tourist trap packaged food. Her English was excellent; the pace of the tour was very comfortable- and we were a mixed group of people from 20- 40’s to 70’s. One family was on the tour being in Toledo on a day trip excursion and my husband and I were here in Toledo for 5 nights- and Sarah helped us each sort out priorities for follow-up whether to the train station or walks, dining, and sightseeing.
We are used to traveling in our own, but having a professional guide like Sarah is invaluable in getting to understand more of what one is seeing. We would highly recommend Sarah who owns her own travel guide site as offered through Viator.

Best Toledo Tour
This was a last minute booking for a day trip to Toledo. We were contacted by our guide Sonia in advance. We were told about the history of Toledo and given plenty of time for pictures and questions when we arrived. Sonia made learning fun! I would give her 10 stars if I could! This is one of our highlights from our first trip to Spain! I would definitely recommend this to friends and would consider a repeat tour!

Great Jewish Tour of Toledo
Sagry was a wonderful, knowledgeable and lovely tour guide. We visited Toledo on January 1st where the main sites are closed which Sagry had reached out to me in advance to suggest that we change our date but unfortunately we were not able to because of our travel schedule. Despite the closures and very cold weather, Sagry did a great job explaining the Jewish history and broader Toledo history to us and brought it to life. She was accommodating and an absolute pleasure to spend a few hours with.

Wonderful Tour!
We had a wonderful tour of Toledo’s historic city center, and we were fortunate enough to have Sagrario (or “Sagry,” as she likes to be called) as our guide. As a native of Toledo, she brought the city to life with her deep knowledge and warm personality. Sagry blended history with fascinating stories about the events that have shaped Toledo into the city it is today.
She also went above and beyond by recommending an incredible lunch spot (Restaurante La Orza) and giving us thoughtful advice on where to shop for authentic handmade crafts—and just as importantly, where not to go. Since we were heading back to Madrid the same day, Sagry insisted we stop at the iconic Chocolatería San Ginés for churros. Unsurprisingly, they were absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end the day.
I highly recommend getting a guide when exploring Toledo, and if you’re lucky enough to have Sagrario, you’re in for an unforgettable experience!
