A great way to get from...
A great way to get from Riga to Vilnius! The stops were well worth it. We spent about an hour in Bauska, two hours at Rundāle Palace (including lunch), and an hour at the Hill of Crosses. A nice way to break up the drive and see more of the region along the way!

Great visit to the food market.
Zana was our local guide; walking through the market with her, you get plenty of explanations—and you really learn a lot without it feeling like a classroom lesson. It was simply fantastic; there were six of us adults, and everyone agreed that it wouldn't have been nearly as much fun without her.

Riga is absolutely charming!
Riga is such a charming city. We really enjoyed our walking tour and learning a lot about Riga and its people. Our guide was kind enough to point out things to see and do and where the locals eat so we had plenty of places to explore after as well. This walking tour was a perfect addition to a perfect day in Riga!

Don’t Hesitate, Just Go
Absolutely a fantastic day. Picked up right on time and our guide, Viesturs, was charming, knowledgeable & set the stage for a great trip. All 3 attractions were informative & entertaining. Highly recommended for the events I booked but would recommend this company for all excursions they offer.

Deluxe Riga Tour!
We had such a great experience touring Riga with Emils !He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, sharing so much about the city’s history, culture, and interesting little details along the way. What really made the tour stand out, though, was his fantastic sense of humor. He kept us laughing and engaged throughout the entire tour and made learning about Riga genuinely fun.

A unique and memorable experience
This tour was amazing. I went on it solo and I’m beyond happy that I booked this. Martins picked me up right outside of my apartment and we drove to the missile base. The base itself was unlike any place I’ve seen and it felt exciting to be able to access a place of such a serious nature that used to be top secret. Martins guided me through all of it and explained everything. I was in awe. We then went to a nice roadside restaurant and Martins helped me order a dish outside of the menu that complied with my dietary restrictions, which I am so grateful for. We drove to the bunker and this was also a quite unique experience. Throughout the whole day I had heaps of interesting discussions with Martins about all of the stops we made, about Latvian politics and history and life in general. He carefully answered all the questions I had about Latvia and this combined with all of the knowledge he had to share about the places we visited made this tour so special. We then went to the battle museum and we walked around the museum together with the kind owner of the museum that also was keen on sharing more information about the items on display. The armored vehicles and the T-34 on the lawn outside of the museum were fascinating to walk around and I got to climb up on the T-34 and peak inside of it. Incredible. Throughout the whole tour, Martins was so attentive and ensured that I had a great time. The itinerary of the tour was a superb mix of things to learn about the 20th century history of Latvia and Martins made it even more impressive and memorable. Long car drives aren’t so bad when you have great conversations and good company. I was a little hesitant about booking a private tour just for myself but I have seen and learnt things that I will carry with me indefinitely. Thank you for this tour Martins!

Stories about food and food as history
Excellent introduction to Latvia’s food culture with a solid dose of important history on top. Both the market and the halls that were open were exciting, and there was a feeling of getting a little closer to a "real" Latvia.
Our guide, Mikhail, was skillful and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend the trip.

Fantastic. Recommended.
Nice small group tour with minibus. The guide Richard, who was also a driver, was knowledgeable and provided information during the trip. Free water bottle for every traveler. The cross hill was an amazing experience with over 2 million crosses. Lunch was not possible, but on the other hand the tour ended in Riga already at 3 pm. Coffee break was included on the trip.

Enjoyed by our family of 4
The whole team were friendly, experienced, organised, communicated well before hand. Our ex-police / military instructor showed us how to stand, hold and delivered instructions & guidance in English very well. Felt safe at all times.
We caught a bolt (taxi) directly to site as the square was collection not available on this day, which was easy using Bolt app (Baltic uber).
This experience was a first time for all of us and we all enjoyed it, the adrenaline was definitely flowing.
Would highly recommend the Sautuve

Make the pilgrimage to the Hill of Crosses in Šiauliai.
Great way to make the pilgrimage to the Hill of Crosses in Šiauliai. A must trip if you’re in Riga a few days.
Small comfortable van. Bit of a drive. Tour guide was awesome! Fun, knowledgeable and talkative.
The church and castle on the way back was just a bonus.

Maris was a fantastic tour guide which he provided so much information about Latvia and Lithuania. We got to see the border crossing which was fun to get some photos, Hill of Crosses which was a must for Lithuania, beautiful Rundale palace, lunch with our group, and Bauska Castle. It was a blast and got to see other areas of Latvia. Highly recommend as a day trip

Fun tour with the sleigh ride, the huskies and a walk
This was really a super fun activity! Our tourguide Jans arrived at our hotel exactly on time and it was a 40-minute drive to the Husky spot. We had to wait a bit long before it was our turn so put on very warm clothes but it was nice to see and pet the many huskies. The sled ride with the dogs is quite short, about 15 minutes but it is definitely long enough and super fun to do. The dogs go really fast, there are 6 and in between we drank some tea and ate some cookies. Afterwards we took a nice walk to a view tower.
Jans sent us a very nice video of our trip afterwards. Recommended, this tour
