Anthony Rosselot was our...
Anthony Rosselot was our guide and, without exaggeration, he was one of the top two guides we've ever had. Anthony began before the tour by welcoming each of us and inquiring where we were from, while secretly memorizing our names, so that he could address us personally during the tour. The Musée d’Orsay houses the largest collection of impressionist and post-impressionist art, so by necessity one has to understand the evolution of art in that period to really appreciate what the d'Orsay holds. So Anthony skillfully guided us through that period of art by getting our group to key pieces of art in time-ordered sequence, asking our impressions and feelings, sharing his, and describing the reactions of the public when these pieces were first shown -- often creating somewhat of a scandal. Anthony's approach was like a compressed art class, gently teaching us while also letting us fully enjoy these masterpieces. (We heard several other members of our tour group comment on that.) The d'Orsay building has been originally constructed as a train station, so another aspect of Anthony's tour was letting us appreciate the design of the building for that purpose as well, and its being saved from demolition to be turned into the exquisite museum that it now is.

We loved ❤️❤️ our guide...
We loved ❤️❤️ our guide Aliya!!! In the 2 days in Paris, she navigated us thru streets and history and made our tour come alive. We saw everything we wanted and more unexpected things that gave out tour a surprise. We booked the tour because language and directions are not our forte, she helped us to see the highlights for first time travelers to Paris. We loved the tour!! We loved her!!

Our excellent 3 day adventure
We took this three day tour with our tour guide Leila and our excellent coach driver. Leila has an encyclopedic knowledge of French history and could answer any question put to her. We are studying French and Leila was always ready to explain the finer points of French grammar which we appreciated. Our driver was very competent and we always felt safe with him behind the wheel. One issue of concern was the standard of the two hotels we stayed at. The Novotel in Caen and the second hotel in Angers were barely 4 star. Very poor quality rooms and the food was bland and served very badly .

Great, knowledgeable and a fun experience!
It started on time. She was very friendly and knowledgeable on facts of the Eiffel Tower along with questions the group asked her. She took the time to explain a little about the city as well that ties it all with how and why the tower was built and its location. Thumbs up!

Not seeing something you are looking for?

There’s no shortage of things to do in Paris, but the city’s location in the northern center of France also makes it an ideal base for exploring other famous French regions. Multi-day tours take care of advance planning, with many bundling transport, hotels, activities, and even meals. Brittany, Normandy, and the Loire Valley castles commonly feature on itineraries for 2- and 3-day trips. With more time, you can head farther afield, from the lavender fields of Provence to the wine cellars of Burgundy—or even hop the border to neighboring countries such as Switzerland, Belgium, and Monaco.
