We would like to express...
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Lance and the whole team at La Tour.
Lance provided incredibly thoughtful, patient and professional service throughout our Namibia trip. He was responsive to all our requests and gave fantastic local recommendations.
We especially appreciate the team’s extra effort: they delivered our forgotten glasses to our accommodation as early as 7 a.m. in the morning, which saved our trip.
Thanks to all of you, we enjoyed this unforgettable adventure along Skeleton Coast, Sandwich Harbour and the pink salt pans. We highly recommend La Tour and Lance to all travellers!

Where the dunes meet the ocean
Sandwich Harbour is part of the Namib-Naukluft Park near Walvis Bay.
It should be noted that a guide is mandatory to enter this place.
The reservation is made via GetYourGuide for a full 5-hour 4x4 tour of Sandwich Harbour in French.
We were notified the day before that the tour would not be in French! Even though we had specifically booked via this organization for the tour in French. Our guide supposedly did not have this information from GetYourGuide.
The meeting point is in front of the Flamingo hotel parking lot. Hadri will be our driver-guide.
We pass by the Cerebos salt factory and the pink salt marshes before observing the flamingos. Then we arrive in the Namib Desert and look for the small inhabitants of the desert: scorpions, snakes, geckos... and observe the tracks of large animals (brown hyenas, oryx, ostriches...).
The landscapes are increasingly remarkable and we are now driving with the ocean on our right and the dunes on our left. We come across a few dead fur seals on the beach and even a whale vertebra!
Then begins the sporty driving in the immense dunes that plunge into the Atlantic Ocean and a super nice appetizer dinner in the heights. The views from the top of the dunes are spectacular.
We had an excellent time with Hadri, a super friendly, patient guide and a great driver who managed to ensure we encountered as few tourists as possible.
This excursion is one of the highlights of our trip.

Super nice tour with a super nice guide!
Our guide, Andre Strauss, made the day. He shared many interesting stories, showed us incredible places and is an excellent driver. It was fun, engaging, and the music was great too.
Instead of following the crowds to the spots every group goes to, Andre took us to places where there was no one (or almost no one) else around. The only exception was Kodak Dune, but that is no surprise that it attracts people. It felt like we had the desert to ourselves.
So we would highly recommend Andre and MC Tours!

It was really great
We went with Andrew today and he really gave us the best experience of this tour. It was really even better than we expected. Andrew is a really nice man and has a real passion for his work. You can talk nicely with him and he also tells all sorts of facts about the area.

Dream day with a dream guide
So first of all, Petrus was a fantastic tour guide !!! He does it with a lot of heart and an extreme amount of knowledge and empathy for the customers !!!
We were able to experience the tour today with him and another customer... it was mega interesting and we learned a lot about the country and the people, and the fact that he comes from the township enhanced the whole thing even more and he told us a lot about his life and we were very sad when he said the tour is unfortunately over now....
I think that says it all...
Thank you very much for the beautiful day, dear Petrus, and all the best to you and your family ❤️

Highly recommended
It is highly recommended.
You can watch the sunrise and sunset well at Dune 45 and arrange it on request.
The campsite is well equipped and comfortable. The shower is hot and the toilet is clean. There are restaurants and Wi-Fi. I rented a sleeping bag, so staying in a tent was not as cold as I expected. The guides are very helpful and quick to deal with flat tire problems. The sandwiches for lunch, the lamb and chicken stew and garlic toast for dinner were very good, made by our guide. It's very nice to have free airport transfers in Windhoek. I felt safe interacting with tour companies without any problems.
I think the cost is very good considering the content.

Great insight into the culture of the San
The Bushman Walk was an absolute highlight of our stay in Windhoek. The San who guided us through the savanna were incredibly friendly and warm, and you could immediately tell how much they enjoy sharing their knowledge. They explained a lot to us about their way of life – from plants they use for food or as medicine, to their traditional hunting methods. You really get the feeling of immersing yourself in another, very old world for a few hours. For anyone looking for an authentic and educational excursion off the beaten tourist path, this is absolutely recommended. Highly recommended!

A worthwhile afternoon excursion.
Great lodge about 40 minutes from Windhoek. The ostrich Lucy lives there almost as a pet and surprises you right upon arrival. The drive with the jeep into the reserve was very beautiful and informative. We saw various wildlife (no cats, but that was clearly communicated). The highlight was the encounter with the rhinos and the baby.... our guide Alpha made a great effort, and the little picnic before returning to the lodge was excellent (various drinks with/without alcohol, vegetarian/meat snacks). A great afternoon.

Cruiseliner Special Swakopmund Historical City Tour 4/6/26
Terrific Tour with a fabulous tour guide named Warren. He was engaging, went to great lengths to ensure we were confortable and answered our relentless questions happily. Thoroughly enjoyed his tour and his company. He is an asset to his tour company.

Perfect start to the day – beautiful kayaking tour with wildlife observations.
The kayaking tour with Pelican Point Kayaking was a wonderful experience and definitely one of our highlights in Lüderitz. The morning atmosphere on the water was incredibly calm and relaxed – just the perfect start to the day.
What was particularly nice was that we were able to observe many animals along the way: penguins, flamingos, and even some dolphins. The natural scenery was impressive, and the entire tour was very pleasant and cozy, allowing us to enjoy everything at a leisurely pace.
Our guide was excellent – very friendly, motivated, and knowledgeable about the region and its wildlife. We felt well taken care of the entire time.
An absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to experience Lüderitz from a special perspective.

Breathtaking tour for the whole family.
An unforgettable experience. There were stunning landscapes and plenty of fun driving over the dunes. And then we were actually able to spot humpback whales.
Our 5-year-old daughter was completely thrilled as well. Especially from climbing up and running down the dunes.
Many thanks to our driver Lawrence, who pointed out and explained many things to us.
We would do it again anytime!
