What are people saying about Rwanda

Amazing
I highly recommend this tour. I got Benjamin as my Guide. I saw all of the wonderful reviews on Viator so I was happy that it was him waiting for me at my hotel. I recognize him immediately because of the previous reviews. Excellent, Customer Service. This was a full in-depth tour and I’m very impressed. I really loved the city of Kigali. It’s very clean. The roads are amazing very green. I got to see a lot in one day. I was able to pick my pick up. Time. I think my tour is about six hours. Food is included. We went to traditional restaurant with traditional local food, there are vegan options. I’m talking potatoes, sweet potatoes, rice beans, cabbage the local bread. The memorial for the Genesis is free but they do except donations for $30 you can get a pin and a digital audio guide, which I highly recommend. Thank you Benjamin, excellent experience, and for the solo travelers Completely safe. He’ll take all the photos and videos that you want. The market was a little intense. Very safe. People are so friendly to talk to visitors, but people kind of overcrowded you. They all talk at once, because everybody wants your business so that was a little overwhelming, but Benjamin was constantly with me again, very safe. People just want to show you their shops.

Amazing tour - highly recommend
The Kigali City Tour was just amazing. The guide Darius took me to the main sightseeings of Kigali. Darius was very knowledgable and provided many stories and history of Rwanda and Kigali. He also took lots of beautiful pictures in front of main sightseeings. I highly recommend this tour.

Enjoyable Safari and Rwandan countryside tour
We enjoyed the Safari, but do understand that it is going to be a very long day. Our Guide picked us up early and it was about 2 1/2 hours drive to the park, stopping along the way for a clean restroom and snack break. The boat ride was first, where we saw hippos, baboons, and lots of birds. Then we made our way from the south end of the park all the way up through to the north end. We saw zebras, giraffes, one elephant, white AND black rhinos, lots of Cape Buffalo, impalas, waterbuck, warthogs, and some things I’m sure I am forgetting. Yes, the roads are terrible within the park, but that’s all part of the experience. They call it an African massage lol. The drive back was closer to four hours because again you exit through the north end of the park. I really enjoyed the rides to and from the park because you got to see so much of the Rwandan people and their customs/culture. It was fascinating to see how they carry things on their heads, even the small children. And crazy how many things they can carry on a bicycle! Our guide was very nice, always checking to make sure we had everything we needed, and communicated with other guides to be sure we saw all the animals that were nearby. We recommend this Tour. I would suggest that you just order from the restaurant within the park, though our sandwiches in our boxed lunch were good too (but our cokes were warm by the time we got to eat lunch).

One Day day- trip from Kigali to Akagera for a Safari
We had a wonderful safari! Our driver, Jean Paul, was friendly, informative, and made the long day everything we wanted it to be! He worked very hard to find our favorite animals and we saw all of the Big 5 except the leopard, which we knew was a long shot anyway. The drive was comfortable, the lunch was nice, and the views in AKAGERA National Park were extraordinary.
