Fast moving tour of beautiful sites
A well organised tour. Time is short at each stop but you still get the full experience. The coach was clean, modern and comfortable. I would have enjoyed some historical commentary on the coach as we drove to each site. The guided tour at Linderhof Palace was excellent. The audio tour at Neuschwanstein Castle was really good. I would recommend this tour.

HIghly Recommend
This private tour of Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace was perfect for our group of six. Our guide and driver, Alessando, was fantastic. He picked us up at our hotel in a clean, comfortable van, and the entire day was very well organized with skip-the-line tickets included. Alessando’s knowledge of the area made exploring the castles and traveling between locations simple, relaxing, and enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour!

A Day Well Spent
A memorable day at Oberammergau and Neuschwanstein Castle. Chloe was an excellent guide, giving us a detailed explanation about the history of Oberammergau and of the life of Ludwig II. We also stopped for lunch - the food was plentiful and tasty, the view was amazing. Thanks Chloe for a fantastic day. I highly recommend this tour.

We have been to...
We have been to Neuschwanstein castle before but this time we brought our son. We all enjoyed this tour. Mattis our guide made it easy to get into the castle and down. He gave us a very good overview of the historical facts about the castle and the area. We enjoyed the trip very much.

  • Neuschwanstein Castle ticket lines can be long in peak season—plan ahead and book a skip-the-line tour to avoid the hassle.

  • Wear suitable walking shoes if you opt to walk up to the castle—the road is uphill and uneven in places.

  • The castle is wheelchair-accessible with buses and carriages that can bring visitors up the hill to the entrance; inside, you'll also find elevators.

  • Plan to spend about two hours at the castle, excluding wait times.
