Port of Mahogany Bay (Carnival Cruise Port) As soon as you get off of the cruise ship you must walk about 1/4 mile, we apologize in advance for the distance. Due to company policy, the port does not allow independent tour operators to enter the cruise port. You will pass a two-story red roofed building. You must walk through the plaza where you will see many stores. Then you will go down the covered gangway. Take a left onto the paved road near the security gate. You will have to walk about 250 yards up a small hill. There you will see your driver holding a Roatan Ocean Adventures Sign (ROA). If you have trouble finding us, please ask a dispatcher to point us out. If for some reason we are not there, please call us to the following number + (504) 9892-8179 Port of Roatan Town center (Royal Caribbean / Norwegian) We will be waiting for you when you arrive to the cruise port at Coxen Hole. As soon as you get off of the cruise ship, please walk out to the main road. Across the street, you will see your driver holding a Roatan Ocean Adventures Sign (ROA). If you have trouble finding us, please ask a dispatcher to point us out. If for some reason we are not there, please call us to the following number + (504) 9892-8179 NOTE: Pick up is 30 minutes to an hour after the cruise ship arrives at the port, thank you. Don't rush yourselves, we will be waiting for you, we understand that it takes time for you to get off of the ship.

We had a great time in Roatan. ROA team was amazing! They are very organized and friendly.
The visit to the animal sanctuary was a unique experience for us, even without the opportunity to hold a sloth (not a deal breaker). We still were able to feed animals and watch them in very close proximity.
The beach was breathtaking, fantastic snorkeling spot!
We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Roatan!

Totally worth cost of excursion. We had so much fun with the monkeys. The beach was beautiful. Our driver was awesome and available when and where he said he would be, gave us insight to places as we passed them.

Roatán Ocean Adventures is the only way to experience this port- they are highly regarded by everyone in the island, have the most professional staff, will give your group a guide and driver that stays with you all day and meets your needs. The sanctuary and beach were amazing and I would recommend it to everyone- with the caveat that ROA be the tour group to take you. We were safe and well cared for.

We had the privilege of having Rose as our guide and driver for the day. As she is a lifelong resident of the island, it was such a treat hearing her stories and learning about the culture of Roatán. She made the experience truly unforgettable and everything was smooth from pickup to drop off. The sloths were so adorable and the monkeys were lots of fun. We also did some snorkeling at Brady’s Cay, which was a beautiful quiet private island beach club. Everything was great and spending time with Rose was really a highlight of our trip!

Overall a great experience. Only downfall was not getting to hold the sloths. However Rose our driver-tour guide was amazing. I would absolutely return to Roatan if she would drive us around again. Her love for her island was amazing and all the historical information she had was priceless. She was very accommodating and went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing experience. My only regret was not getting her contact information so that she could drive us around the next time we were in Roatan.

We were on the Carnival Jubilee cruise ship. Our pick up point was outside the port. It is quite a walk and it was very hot and humid. Hopefully someday the operator will be allowed inside the port gates. Our driver was Joe. He was a very kind man and got us to the animal sanctuary, about 15-20 minutes away. We waited a little bit for our group to be called. It was entertaining watching the chickens, lizards and monkeys close by. Kelab was our tour guide. He was awesome! He took us to see the sloths 🦥 first. I thought the description said we could pet the sloths but we were not able to do that. There was a law passed that you can't hold them. We got to see one sloth that was actually very active. So adorable! We then went into a monkey enclosure. We formed a circle and the monkeys played duck duck goose as they around the circle on our heads! LOL Kelab poured a little water into our hands and monkeys drank out of our hands. The monkeys checked our pockets for anything. Fortunately, we had empty pockets. We were with the monkeys a really good amount of time. So adorable and cute! Then we went to the bird area and great big Macaws landed on our heads along with Amazon parrots. We had ample time with the birds as well. There was no rush. It was hot and humid but very enjoyable. If you are an animal lover this was a great excursion.
After the animal sanctuary, Joe took us to a private area where we caught a water shuttle that took us over to Brady's Cay (jkey). Beautiful white sand beaches and beautifu differentl blue clear water! It was a great day!

Our tour operator greeted us right on time, and broke the bad news that the beaches were closed that day. BUT, they then did everything to fulfill our day - the weather cleared and we ended up going snorkeling, which was absolutely FABULOUS!
Our driver, Norma was so incredibly wonderful... she stayed with us the entire day, working her magic to arrange the snorkeling with her boss while we were at the animal sanctuary. ROA was the best and I absolutely recommend this tour company for any tour/excursion in Roatan, Honduras!

Great excursion. Kisha was amazing! It was raining lots in the morning so we weren't able to go to the beach but we went to the market instead.

Our driver Herman made the trip extra special. He was so sweet, and just a gentleman. It was a very raining day when my sister, my niece and I took the tour with him. He took us to the monkey tour and when we were finished we were hesitant to the finish the beach tour because of the overcast. He encouraged us to at least go the location and then decide if we wanted to
Boy we would have missed out if we did not listen to him We enjoyed our day at the beach (with an awesome lunch) and was so relaxing He then took us to purchase chocolate which was so delicious I would recommend this tour to everyone

Monkeys, sloths and West Bay beach were all fabulous. The weather didn’t cooperate but even with the rain and lightening at the beach we still had an amazing time. The entire tour is a must do!

We loved Roatán and truly enjoyed our time with the monkeys and sloths. Our guide, Keylei was wonderful and really made the tour fun! We’re already making plans to go back and do more excursions with Roatan Ocean Adventures! They’re excellent!

Definitely recommend booking with this company. They were professional, friendly and it was like we were on our own personal tour. The monkeys were so fun and the private island beach is beautiful. Clear directions on how to find them and had us back at the exact time we wanted. Just book it!

I was worried about trying to find our driver outside the port but it was very easy. Our driver was David and he was wonderful. They were flexible if you wanted to stay longer at your stop.

The monkeys were absolutely amazing and hilarious. Slots were cute, but unfortunately you couldn’t touch them. The private island was nice with a lot to do as well. Driver was super friendly and knowledgeable about the island. She let us plan some things on our own time, like when to leave the island and if there were any stops we wanted to make back to the cruise ship. Highly recommend!

Due to repairs on our cruise ship, we arrived a few hours later than expected. Fortunately, this was not a problem at all and the tour company was waiting for us when we arrived.
Our guide, Uncle Joe, was friendly and welcoming. He drove us to the animal sanctuary, where we had the opportunity to see sloths, monkeys and parrots up close. It was a very special experience and a wonderful chance to interact with these amazing animals.
After the sanctuary visit, Uncle Joe took us to another location where we boarded a boat to a private island. The bay was absolutely beautiful, with crystal-clear water and a relaxed atmosphere.
Uncle Joe ensured that we returned to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Thank you!

The guides were excellent, the animals were fun, and the beach was beautiful and perfect for snorkeling. There were dozens of live conks, lobsters, urchins, and many fish among the coral. The experience might seem a little contrived, but it was great fun. I wish I had brought my kids with me: they would have enjoyed holding the beautiful birds and having the monkeys run across their heads.

We had a wonderful time visiting Sloths and Monkeys and then taking a beach break. Our driver Brandon, was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all our questions. Kelab at the Monkey and Sloth rescue was really great and rescued my hair clip after a monkey sold it. We felt very safe and really enjoyed our time with ROA.

Great experience! ROA was ready when we got there and it was a small group. Just us and another small family. Loved the monkeys jumping on and around us. It was great to see the sloths as even though you can't hold them anymore because of a law. But you can see them up close. We also spent a couple of hours at a private beach. Our tour guide Norma was great! Would recomend ROA and this adventure to anyone visiting Roatan

Really great time. We exited ship, walked out of port and found Roatan Ocean Adventures easily. We were assigned a private driver, Norma. She was able to share some Honduras history while otw to the sanctuary. Great time with the sloths, monkeys and parrots. We then went to a private beach. Was able to be there as long as we wanted too. Norma offered to drive us to local markets or restaurants. Overall, this was a great experience for a fraction of cruise line prices.

Joe was a perfect driver. Some drivers in the area were crazy, but we felt very safe with Joe. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and super patient. The Animal Sanctuary was SO FUN! And the tour guides were fun and knowledgeable. Everything was very clean. I highly recommend this!

Norma took great care of me from start to finish—picking me up at the ship, taking me to the beach, and making sure I got back safely. I was a bit disappointed that you can no longer hold the sloths at the sanctuary due to regulations, but it was still really neat to get up close to them. Spending time with the monkeys and macaws was especially fun.
The tour guides at the sanctuary were very professional and polite, which made the experience even better. I was also the first one on the beach, which was a nice bonus. The beach was clean, and the staff there were friendly and courteous.

Definitely recommend! Everything was so fun! They take you on a little boat ride to Bradys Cay for a beach day after. The beach is beautiful.

My family and I had an amazing time! We loved seeing the sloths, monkeys, and birds. You can't hold the sloths, however you can get close for pictures. We then traveled to the most relaxing, beautiful beach where we were given plenty of time to soak up the sun. Our guide was extremely informative, providing background on Roatan. I would absolutely recommend this excursion.
