Fergus was an outstanding...
Fergus was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, professional, and exceptionally well-prepared. His carefully planned itinerary allowed us to see an impressive number of locations in the time we had available, making every moment count. He knew not only the popular sites but also several hidden gems and lesser-known locations that we would never have discovered on our own.
Throughout the tour, Fergus shared fascinating historical information and local insights that brought each destination to life. His knowledge of the area's history, culture, and landmarks added tremendous value to the experience. Thanks to his efficient planning and expertise, we were able to visit many locations without ever feeling rushed.
I highly recommend Fergus to anyone looking for an informative, enjoyable, and well-organized tour. His professionalism, local knowledge, and ability to maximize the time available made for a memorable experience.

My sister and I have done...
My sister and I have done the “wander and drive ourselves” around Ireland before, but this time traveling with our 82 year old dad, we wanted to have a more structured experience and this trip was perfect for that goal. Alan, our guide, was so personable and he shared so many interesting historical facts. (Bring anti-nausea medicine if it’s a rough day. People were struggling on the ferry due to rough water.)

The tour of Kylemore...
The tour of Kylemore Abbey was absolutely amazing. The landscape during the drive to the Abbey was stunning. The sheep dog demonstration was exceptional. Plus we got to play with some of the 10 week old puppies which was a big hit with the family. Our guide, Richie, was very knowledgeable and ensured we did not miss anything.

Great tour in Connemara
This was a great tour of Connemara on a gorgeous day. We chose the park because of the sun and no rain. If it's raining, do yourself a favor and choose the Kylemore abbey. Rain of any significance would ruin the park visit but the abbey looks lovely from the outside and would be much better on a rainy day. Paddy was a fantastic host who had a wealth of knowledge about the area to share. He was fantastic. Brendan was also an incredibly safe driver. My only suggestion to Paddy was to announce at the beginning of the trip that people should stay in their original seats throughout the tour. We ended up having to change seats 4 times due to other customers moving around. When we mentioned this suggestion to him he was very receptive and helped resolve our issues. If he regularly tells customers to stay in their original seats at the beginning of the tour, hopefully they will, which will result in no confusion or frustration. Regardless, it really was a great tour and I highly recommend!!

Five stars: Connemara, Kylemore Abbey and the Wild Atlantic Way made for a wonderful day from Galway
Five stars: Connemara, Kylemore Abbey and the Wild Atlantic Way made for a wonderful day from Galway
We had a terrific experience on the Connemara, Kylemore Abbey and Wild Atlantic Way tour from Galway on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Our tour guide and mini-coach driver, Mike, did a great job from start to finish.
Mike had the right balance of narration, local stories, humor, photo stops and coffee stops before and after the featured attractions. He also navigated the narrow roads like a pro, which made the long day feel easy and enjoyable. The mini-motor coach was first class and very comfortable.
We opted for Kylemore Abbey rather than Connemara National Park, and three hours was the perfect amount of time. We were able to visit the gardens, then the abbey, and then the chapel without feeling rushed. Kylemore Abbey was a surprise and delight.
While this is a long day, the scenery, sightseeing, stops and Mike’s narration made it very enjoyable. The weather was also great for our tour, which made the Wild Atlantic Way and Connemara landscapes even more memorable.
One note, similar to what a previous reviewer mentioned: the tour name might be clearer as “Connemara or Kylemore Abbey and Wild Atlantic Way tour from Galway” so travelers understand that the main stop is a choice between Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey, not both.
Overall, five stars. A beautiful, well-run day trip from Galway.

Our driver, Noel, was very knowledgeable, prompt, and accommodating. The natural sites we visited and the restaurants we stopped at were all fabulous, including a bonus stop along the ocean for some unique rock formations. We got back to Galway 15-minutes early which was nice since the weather had turned during the last hour of our trip. We were able to stop for the toilet as needed and the bus was very clean.

Great day tour of Connemara
Excellent tour. So worth leaving the driving to someone else, and our driver/guide Mike, was so knowledgeable. Gained so much interesting insight and information about the area, as well as Ireland as a whole, plus made many stops at places of great interest that might’ve very well otherwise have been missed by having done a self tour. Mike had the gifts of both humor and gab. So glad I did this.

Amazing
Sean was a great guide, we saw much of Connemara, making many stops in spots with breathtaking views. There was enough time to enjoy everything and the tour was very well structured.
Sean told us many interesting stories, sometimes a bit timidly, but always well. 10/10 would recommend

Great day out of Galway- Take this tour
Absolutely wonderful tour of the Burren to the Cliffs of Moher. Sean was an excellent driver. We are not accustomed to narrow winding roads but felt comfortable with Sean. The guide Paddy was also excellent; giving us just the right amount of information about the history of the area and a quick course in the Irish language. I would give the tour a 5+.

Great Experience
This was a great tour and experience. Was great to get to see the cliffs from the sea! Our guide Shawn was great. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of insight into the country and this area. There are lots of options for tours and I’m so glad we went with the one going to rhe Aran Islands. YOU MUST go the horse drawn carriage ride on Ishineer island. They are given by locals who love on the island and the experience of learning from the locals is so important! Highly recommend for couples, families or even solo travelers.

All the food I wanted to try!
All the places I wanted to try - great guide - excellent food and beyond what I expected. Good variety of food and drinks to try. Enjoyed hearing all the backstories for the places we tried and it was nice to see various parts of the city. A great tour!

Beautiful Day in the Connemara National Park
Our family enjoyed the half day trip to the Connamara National Park with our private driver DC (Sorin). We appreciated how he was able to customize our adventures that suited our interests; from stopping to feed the sheep to driving through Connemara National Park and especially visiting the beautiful Kylemore Abbey. We wished we would have booked a whole day tour with DC. There was just not enough time to hike to the top of Diamond Hill. DC was very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas
we visited and also courteous, polite, personable and witty. We would highly recommend his tour to any families or groups of friends looking to enjoy the Ireland landmarks and local culture.
