What are people saying about Galway

Highly recommend this tour
What a great tour. Our guide, Brian, was wonderful. He picked us up in Galway and shared lots of interesting tidbits along the way to Doolin. The stop along the way was amazing (I only wish we had more time there because we loved climbing on the rocks!). Then we took a boat cruise to see the Cliffs of Moher from the water, which was so beautiful. Then we took a ferry to Inisheer. The island has rich history and beautiful views. We ate lunch on the island and took a horse carriage tour of the island. I would actually just have skipped lunch (bring something quick in your bag) and skip the horse tour for walking around the island. It's small and you get the feel of it better walking. But the carriage driver was friendly and interesting.

Unforgettable cruise to Inisheer & Cliffs of Moheer
Exciting trip to the smallest island of Aran Islands & amazing views from below and from above to the Cliffs of Moher. Also touring in the rugged landscapes of the Burren was interesting. Alan was an amazing guide AND driver. First I couldn’t believe that the sama person was both driving and guiding us! He was very knowledgeable, funny, organised and took excellent care of us! He told us interesting things about the history and life on Irish people both in Ireland and around the world.

Lorraine was an amazing...
Lorraine was an amazing tour guide and excellent driver. She was informative and funny during the drive and allotted plenty of time for us to explore the cliffs. She went above and beyond to help her passengers and I will forever recommend her tour bus to anyone who plans on visiting the cliffs of Mohr.

Good experience to the Cliffs of Moher and Burren
Paul was a wonderful guide and driver. Plenty of stops for rest breaks and photos. Only feedback as a potential negative was that although we were there 15-20 minutes before tour departure, the bus was almost full and our family of three got separated. A suggestion would be to ask solo travelers to take empty seats next to other solo travelers to allow for families to sit together. There was no such guidance given.

The city of Galway is a launching point for exploring the west coast of Ireland. While the live music, shopping, and historic sites of Galway can keep visitors occupied for days, there is a long list of sights beyond the city worth checking out. Choose Galway day trips to discover coastal cliffs, visit charming fishing villages, admire countryside views throughout Connemara, or even set sail to islands off the coast. Most day trips offer convenient round-trip transportation from Galway.
