Fun tour of the Scottish Borders
Our driver, Russell, was knowledgeable and entertaining. The visit to Rosslyn Chapel filled a wish list item and the rest of the tour was the cherry on the sundae. Melrose is a quaint village and the ruins of the Abbey are most impressive. We absolutely enjoyed this tour!

5/5 Stars – An unforgettable day in the Scottish Highlands! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
As a solo traveler in a group of 11, I had a wonderful experience on this Edinburgh to Rosslyn Chapel Highlands tour. Our driver/guide was the star — fun, smart, and incredibly engaging. He kept everyone learning and laughing throughout the day while making sure we all felt included. The scenery was stunning and his storytelling made every stop special. Highly recommended!

Totally Scotland Experience
If you get Alisdair as a driver you will be treated to a substantive narrative about Scotland, Britain, and England. Rosslyn Chapel and Melrose Abbey are stunning. Other side visits add to the Scotland narrative nicely.

The chapel is tiny ! It should be included with a couple of other things. Scott statue wasn't that interesting.

Fantastic day trip from Edinburgh
Had a wonderful day taking in Dunfermline Abbey, Stirling Castle, and Rosslyn Chapel. Mike was excellent in sharing his knowledge of each site and its history. He spent time with each of the groups on our small tour. Had plenty of time at each location to explore and take in the exhibits. Gave us a great tip to be sure and take in the presentation at Rosslyn Chapel. Could have spent longer there taking in all of the details.

Wonderful day. Every stop was great. We really enjoyed Hadrian's Wall. We were able to walk along the wall to see the nearby Mile Castle too! Our tour guide was excellent!

Rosslyn Chapel, Hadrian's Wall, and so much more!
The two main sites we visited were very interesting and informative. Our driver Calum was exceptional, providing lots of information and suggestions as well as ensuring that all of us were well looked after. He kept us on time and was even able to throw in a couple of extra stops with exceptional views. His love and enthusiasm for his country, its history, and art were evident in everything he shared and showed us.

Great tour of Rosslyn...
Great tour of Rosslyn Chapel.
Melrose and Melrose Abbey was excellent.
Might want to skip the walk out to the William Wallace monument.
Photo stop at Scott’s View was beautiful, as was our weather.

Alístair was a wonderful guide. His cheery disposition and awesome playlist made this journey through the lowlands very enjoyable. You can tell he really appreciates the history of Scotland as he retells history on your way from site to site. Rosslyn Chapel is uniquely beautifully and in itself with the journey. Melrose Abbey is a wonder and the staff at Glenkinchie is the meaning of good hospitality.
