Great evening
Wonderful introduction to some of the super tasty foods specific to Beijing! We really enjoyed our time with Joe our guide, who told us a lot about the food we were eating and some history of the city as well. Walking through the small streets in the area of Shichahai was an added bonus to a night of great food.

Absolutely don’t miss this!
If there is one thing and just one tour you can do in China, this will be it. Absolutely perfectly organised tour. Started with a steep climb of 1000 steps and then the entire hike was so easy. We saw so may coming from the opposite direction who really struggled. Great views, no rush in the initial sections, great for pictures too. We are also vegetarian and they had organised excellent Chinese food for us. Really loved it. Special mention to our most wonderful guide David (Dewit) absolutely fantastic guy! Really enjoyed the tour because of him. Gave us lot of time too! 5 stars for him!

Best Great Wall Trip
Kathy is an incredibly professional guide providing historical information and practical tips to ensure an excellent experience at Great Wall. Punctual, ensured we avoided long queues by leaving early and also queuing on our behalf to take toboggan down, also took trouble to explain the dynasties and key info to understand historical events. Tea ceremony was also a nice surprise to round off the day. We highly recommend!

High-level cultural visit
The tour was very enriching. My guide, Miko, provided a great level of information about the history of the place and of China. I highly recommend this guided tour. The Temple of Heaven is much more than just a pretty place for photos; we must respect its history.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable Beijing Day Tour with Jenny – A Perfect Experience
We booked a full-day tour covering Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, a tea ceremony, the Jade Temple and the Great Wall of China (Badaling), and it turned out to be one of the most memorable days of our entire trip.
Our wonderful guide Jenny picked us up right on time at 7:45am from our hotel. We were joined by a fantastic group of travellers from Australia, Brazil and Saudi Arabia, which made the whole day even more fun and social.
Our first stop was Tiananmen Square, where security was extremely thorough, with two levels of passport and body checks. Jenny guided us smoothly through the process and shared fascinating historical information about the square and the surrounding government buildings, including China’s Parliament House and its importance for visiting world leaders.
We then continued on to the Forbidden City, where Jenny really brought history to life. She explained the story of the last emperor, how the emperor, empress, children and concubines lived, and how every area had a specific purpose – from where the emperor studied to where official meetings and royal dinners were held. Walking through such an incredible place with her detailed explanations made it so much more meaningful.
Next was the tea ceremony, where we tasted several beautiful teas including Oolong, Ginseng, Jasmine, Pu-erh and fruity teas. We enjoyed it so much we purchased some ginseng tea and other varieties to take home.
After that we visited the Jade Temple, where we learned that jade is China’s most important stone. Watching skilled craftsmen carve jade into intricate sculptures was truly special — it really is an art form. We even bought jade bracelets as a keepsake. Lunch was served upstairs and included stir-fried vegetables, noodles, calamari, rice, Chinese cabbage, chicken, tofu soup and even chips — everything was delicious and very filling.
Then came the highlight — The Great Wall of China at Badaling. After a short bus ride, we took the cable car up, and once we stepped onto the wall the temperature dropped to around –3°C! Rugged up and excited, we walked together along the wall, up and down the incredible ancient steps. It was one of the most breathtaking and unforgettable experiences of our lives. My husband Daniel and our daughter Aarushi even braved one of the steepest sections while I cheered them on from above!
Through the entire day, Jenny was absolutely amazing — warm, bubbly, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. She made everyone feel comfortable, kept the group organised, and shared China’s history in a way that was easy to understand and engaging.
We cannot recommend Jenny highly enough. She truly made this tour special, and thanks to her, this day will stay in our hearts forever.
If you are visiting Beijing, do not hesitate to book a tour with Jenny — you will have an incredible experience! 🌟

Amazing Experience, Could Not Recommend Higher - MUST DO!
Liu/Leo was amazing! I found out that I was the only traveller while organising pick up which I was very surprised yet fortunate to know when he did not cancel yet provided amazing service. Leo/Liu is the owner of his business and my experience was the top of his priority list. The drive was scenic and Leo offered snacks and water along the journey. He took care of everything from organising tickets, tips and helping me along the way.
If you're a fan of getting a surreal and unique experience on a part of the Great Wall of China, Jinshanling Great Wall would have to be it! Liu and I walked numerous towers being the only people for 80% of the wall. It was awesome! He provided thorough information throughout and took numerous photos for me which he kindly offered. We met this vendor in one of the towers which he visits each time he comes to Jinshanling where she would likely see no tourists other than us for the day we went which was special. After spending a few hours on the wall. Leo and I started the drive back to my hotel where he went above and beyond paying for a few tolls to get back 1 hour quicker. Overall, I was nervous about choosing a tour in preparation for arriving in China for the Jinshanling Great Wall as it's not an over-populated tourist attraction and I am so happy I booked this tour to get an authentic experience! Thanks Leo/Liu!

Marco, our tour guide,...
Marco, our tour guide, made this experience perfect. He was very polite and accommodating, told us the history of the forbidden city with the right amount of details, and was kind enough at the end of the tour to offer recommendations for food in Beijing. I would definitely recommend.
