Susan was an excellent private guide in Beijing. One of the best guides I’ve ever had in my travels. She shared great tips and pointers that helped us avoid long entry lines at major attractions, which saved us a lot of time. Her local knowledge made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Lots of good history with accurate dates and such. Really painted a good picture of the history from place to place. She also gave us good restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend her if you want to make the most of your visit.

We had such an incredible day out with Mubus! We visited the elegant Summer Palace first thing in the morning, then headed to Mutianyu Great Wall for the afternoon. Thanks to the quiet visitor flow, we moved around comfortably without any crowds or delays. It was overcast and slightly chilly, but perfect for walking and enjoying the scenery. John was brilliant to be with—easygoing, knowledgeable, and full of fascinating stories that made the day so engaging. The Mubus exclusive service area with cozy seats and a close restaurant was a lovely extra touch. This trip was well-organized, educational, and absolutely memorable.

We enjoyed our trip with MuBus a lot. Our guide Shannon sent a message via Whatsapp a few days before the tour, describing how to get to the meeting point and other important info. The trip was well organised, including lots of bathroom breaks and reliable meeting information. I would recommend taking the earliest tour possible (7:30 am), as the wall gets very crowded. We went through all the controls pretty quickly, but when we got back there were massives queues at every stop for the people going up. We booked the visit to the wall (and booked the lunch buffet on the bus) and the summer palace. If you really want to spend time at the wall and do full walks, I would recommend doing just the wall. But it gets very crowded, so two hours was enough for us. I'd recommend taking the lunch, too. There are other restaurants around, but it was very quick and convenient to take the lunch. The summer palace was beautiful as well, you shouldn't miss it! We got interesting historical facts and went to the most popular spots. All in all I can recommend MuBus and Shannon as a guide, it was well organised and we enjoyed each stop a lot.

We had an amazing trip with Jenny! She was so informative and knew the answer to all of our questions. She gave us lots of great tips and gave us information about history, the actual buildings themselves, and their significance. We are so glad we scheduled a tour with her!

This was a great food tour in Beijing. Our guide, Haitao was very informative and kept the tour interesting throughout. We went to a few different restaurants and got to experience a variety of different Chinese foods and drinks. We both enjoyed it from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Keith made sure we got to the Great Wall before it was crowded which was so smart because as we were coming down the line was so long vs we didn’t even wait in one on the way up! He also took us to a testimonial tea tasting on our way back down. And on the tour around the summer palace he shared a lot of knowledge and fun stories about the dragon lady and the history surrounding the area! Highly recommend booking this for your Great Wall adventure, and just be ready for a long day filled with things to see!

This experience requires a lot of walking. So clients need to be mobile to get the best experience. This was a fantastic experience. Michael was an amazing tour guide. He kept us on track and communicated frequently to ensure we understood the pick up process. He communicated quite frequently and gave us a heads up on the tour process and the security checkpoints. He is very knowledgeable, I appreciated his ability to share the history of his country. His passion for educating vistors comes through during the tour with him. He was more than willing to engage in conversation and answer my questions about things during the tour. He went the extra mile without hesitation. ‘Rocky’ was our guide and we could not have had a more knowledgeable, polite, and supportive person. This was the best excursion of our entire China experience that we had several in different cities. The Forbidden City and Great Wall are true Wonders of the World and all the history and info he provided made them even more ‘true to life’ and amazing as we actually viewed and experienced them. We could only see Tiananmen Square and not enter it because it was closed for dignitaries that were visiting. This was Ok as we could better see the buildings and immense ground area it covered. As far as the Forbidden City and Great Wall goes, Rocky was very well organized, kept the participants in the group, and was very patient while answering questions and waiting on some of the slower ones. The Great Wall is simply almost indescribable. One must actually see its immense size and the type terrain it is built on to begin to appreciate it and the effort it took to build. Nothing else on earth comes close to its immense size and length. The tour itself was great in all aspects. The lunch provided a good variety of tasty food. I should note that my husband experienced a pinched nerve in his back while in the Forbidden City and he could not have made it through without Rocky and others physically helping at times. He was so kind and understanding and I can not express how much we appreciated his effort and concern.
