Tickets for Xtracold Icebar cost €22.50 for timed entry online or €28 at the door. Your package includes three drinks, one in the room-temperature front bar and two served from ice glasses in the ice bar, plus the use of a warm coat and gloves to cope with the 14°F (-10°C) temperature.

Xtracold Icebar is open 3:45pm–11pm Monday through Thursday, and 11:45am–1am Friday through Sunday, with the last admission roughly 45 minutes before closing time. Time slots for bookings are spaced 20 minutes apart throughout the evening and include a maximum of 20 minutes in the ice bar section of the bar.

Xtracold Icebar doesn’t have a formal dress code, and provides XXXL winter coats plus gloves to keep you warm. Generally, you can wear what you’d wear elsewhere in the city, but as temperatures are just 14°F (-10°C), you should avoid having your legs bare or wearing open shoes such as flip-flops or sandals.

The age limit for Xtracold Icebar is the same as the age limit for buying alcohol in the Netherlands: 18. Children, including babies in strollers or prams, are not allowed into Xtracold Icebar. Staff may ask to see your ID to verify.

Not exactly. Xtracold Icebar is at street level, but there is a 2-inch (5-centimeter) step to enter the ice bar, so electric wheelchairs are not recommended as you'll need someone to help the wheelchair over the step. Additionally, both the front bar and the ice bar may be crowded.
