Iceland is my new guilty pleasure
This experience was jam packed with amazing sights and endless wonders of the world to see.. Our driver/tour guide (Ziggy) went above and beyond.. He was very knowledgable, kind and made everybody feel very comfortable, relaxed and made sure we were all happy.. The best tour I have been on in all my 50 years travelling!.. Thank you so much to Ziggy for making the experience so unique and special xx

Guided tour of lake Mývatn and Goðafoss Waterfall
Our tour guide really looked after us all and kept us safe! The most amazing Icelandic scenery to experience which we would never have reached without the expert driving skills of our tour guide in very snowy and windy weather. He made us feel very safe and very much looked after during our tour!
I would make sure to wear walking shoes or walking boots with a good grip and to make sure to wear warm clothes if needed with the changing Icelandic weather.

Great tour
Great tour! Needed another 45 min at Godafoss Waterfall but plenty of time at the Myvatn Baths. Niko was excellent and the chicken sandwich was delicious. Fun day.

Great Tour lots of stops at breathtaking sights
Tour guide Armand was very knowledgeable, we stopped at lots of spots to take some great photos and Armand knew the area very well as he had grown up there and was full of knowledge.

Lovely excursion
A lovely excursion from Akuyeri, bus driver Jon was very informative with a good sense of humour. We enjoyed the Godafoss most and had a good time to enjoy it without being rushed. Christmas house not impressed but not bad to end the trip with.

Great guide.
Nicole was a great guide, very knowledgeable and fun. Loved the Godafoss Waterfall. Myvatn Nature Baths were interesting and the only reason I gave 4 stars was because they were a little disappointing. Lots of construction around the pool so you didn’t get the feeling I expected.

Amazing trip
Our guide was really knowledgeable on all aspects of Iceland and its culture and I personally learned so much about the Island.
Unable to do thermal bathing due to closure of the facility but this allowed more time on the other attractions.

A very solid and enjoyable tour
We did this during a cruise stop in Akureyri and were happy with how the day went. Pickup was easy, the pacing was comfortable, and the stops felt well-planned. Goðafoss was impressive, and our guide shared helpful background without overloading us with information. The Lake Mývatn area was interesting and offered a nice variety of scenery.
The tour didn’t feel rushed, and we had enough time at each stop to look around and take photos. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and everything ran on schedule, which mattered since we had to be back at the ship.
Overall, it was a good, well-organized way to see the highlights in a limited amount of time. We’re glad we did it.

Access to the falls is free of charge.
Although you can walk close to the edge on the west bank, practice utmost caution as the rocky ledges can be extremely slippery.
