What are people saying about Thailand

Well run class with many food options
This was a very well organized class. Food options available for many tastes including vegan and gluten free. The main instructor was able to communicate the various directions as not everyone was making the same dish and she had many helpers. The market tour was also very interesting. The nearly hour ride from old center city Chiang mai was in one of the converted pickup trucks. If you get motion sickness riding sideways bring some Dramamine.

The food itself was...
The food itself was amazing. We got a little history of bangkok and a small tour around the market downstairs. Due to the class size, we split into 2 different group. I had the male instructor. He was awesome and took his time in explaining everything. I would give this a 10 out of 10.

This cooking class was...
This cooking class was hands down our favorite experience of the entire trip! If you're visiting, don't miss it.
April was an incredible instructor—she was funny, spoke excellent English, and explained every step so clearly that everyone could follow along with confidence. She made the class fun, interactive, and informative while teaching us about the ingredients, techniques, and local cuisine.
The class had about 10–15 people, which was the perfect size to keep it engaging without feeling crowded. Most of the experience took place in air-conditioned spaces, making it very comfortable. They were also happy to adapt the recipes for a variety of dietary restrictions, so everyone could participate and enjoy the meal.
The food we made was absolutely delicious, and it was so satisfying to sit down and enjoy everything we had prepared. As a bonus, they provided recipes for many of the dishes at the end, so we can recreate them at home.
This was our #1 favorite activity of the trip, and we can't recommend it highly enough. If you're considering this class, book it—you won't regret it!

Food heaven with Wandee
Very enjoyable cooking class and visit to a local market with Wandee. We learned a lot about Thai ingredients and what we cooked with her and her team’s guidance tasted amazing. She was very helpful and adapted the menu to people’s intolerances and preferences.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Our family...
Wow! Wow! Wow! Our family group if 8 people can't say enough about Tingly Cooking School and Chef CHO.
Cho was funny, professional and entertaining all while teaching us how to make 4 Thai favorites from scratch.
We arrived late after our driver got lost but CHO was waiting patiently. She took us on a walking tour to the market to gather our ingredients.
Then we made Tom Yum soup, Pad thai, green curry chicken and mango sticky rice.
Talk about YUMMY??
This was such an awesome experience
Book this. ASK FOR CHO

Fantastic culinary experience
Not just a cooking class, great time learning Thai / Samui cultures and Ging answered anything with a great sense of humour and knowledge. Really was a great experience ! Note: don’t eat before you go as you will Definately need some space for what you prepare !!

Do it! You won’t regret it!
Best experience in Bangkok. Really nervous since so many options but happy with our choice! We booked a morning tour to see the market (only available in the mornings) and chose Tingly Thai because we would get to each individually cook some of our favorite traditional dishes like tom yum soup, pad Thai, green curry and mango sticky rice. The recipes were delicious and our favorite including some expensive Thai dinners we had. CHo was our guide and she was hilarious! She included everyone and made everyone feel special. I appreciated that she went around and took group photos of everyone at certain parts of the tour without anyone asking. We had a full tour and it felt like just the right group size. We loved the elegant palm chopsticks given as a parting gift.

Lovely cookery day
This was an excellent experience, a very small market near the meeting point to see where Bangkok cooks get their ingredients then by tuktuk back to the kitchen for our cookery day. The menu varies by day of the week; we made coconut milk, Pad Thai, Tom Kha Gai, mango with sticky rice and green curry. Excellent tuition in a very well organised setting. I’d definitely recommend!

Filling fun with food
Nice people as you would expect in Thailand. Going to the food market was an interesting experience too. Prepared and cooking the food was very easy and a lot of fun. Come hungry as you will have lots to eat. You can take leftovers with you if you want? I recommend it as a great way to spend an afternoon.

So much fun. They picked...
So much fun. They picked us up at our hotel and took us home afterwards. The group we were with we all had individual cooking areas. We created our own menus. We walk through the garden and learned about everything. Even got to have fresh eggs from the chickens who were laying them. It was just amazing experience and we loved our chef hostess who was Tay.

Easy and fun cooking day
We loved this opportunity and the guidance that Gift gave us. The van picked everyone up-our hotel was outside the range so had a generic pickup inside the city center. We then went to a market and Gift pointed out different food items and talked about how they tasted or were cooked including the different types of rice. We then had time to explore where we purchased some spices and some fruits to try. After we went to the school where we started to cook, everything was pre portioned out and some things we could cut, the curry paste we made ourselves, but everything was very easily prepped-even if you didn’t know how to cook you could do this. We toured the garden learning about different Thai herbs and vegetables and then continued to cook, having opportunities to eat along the way until the end when we had our curry and noodles dishes with the dessert together. All the staff were super helpful and everything turned out tasty! We’re excited to have access to the recipe book to cook more at home

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Samping dynamic Thai food, with its fragrant herbs and spicy kick, is one of the best things about traveling in Thailand. If you’d like to create famous Thai dishes like som tam, green curry, or mango sticky rice by yourself, try cooking classes in Thailand where an instructor guides you in preparing Thai delights. Many cities in Thailand have cooking courses available, and some offer market tours, too, so you can see where those fresh flavors come from.
