Great day hiking Santa...
Great day hiking Santa Ana volcano. View at the top was spectacular. Our driver Herbert was on schedule, professional and shared lots of info about El Salvador. Our guide for the hike was Garbriel and he was fantastic. We also learned so many things about the history of El Salvador, volcanos, birds and vegetation. Their English was impressive. I definitely recommand this tour.

El Salvador's Best Storyteller
Dave is a gem who loves his country. His storytelling is superb and the tour was great! His unique experience with the complex history of el salvador makes the tour feel rich and genuine. Dave is also well known in the city. Many times we'd randomly pass by someone Dave knows lol.

Best way to see El Salvador on a layover
I had an amazing time in San Salvador, largely thanks to Ernesto. I had a long layover of 15 hours in San Salvador so I wanted to get to know the area and did a bunch of research of getting into city center by local transport or Uber, or renting a car to drive around El Salvador, or taking tours to see sites. Ultimately I chose this private car service and it was 100% worth the price. It was easy communicating with Ernesto on my way out of the airport. Met up with him, put my luggage in the car, and we were off to explore. He asked me what I wanted to do and created an itinerary on our way to city center. We went to a restaurant overlooking Lago Ilopango, puerta del Díablo, the historic center, el Boqueron Volcano, La Libertad beach, Olucuilta (the place to get pupusas), and back to the airport. I felt completely safe, while getting to see so much more of the country than I thought I could in 12 hours. You can also pay for extra time if you need more than 12 hours. Ernesto was amazing and I highly recommend him if you are visiting San Salvador. He always made it a priority to let me know my options and gave me his recommendations for things to do.

Incredible Santa Ana Volcano & Lake Coatepeque Tour!
Our family of five had an amazing experience on the Santa Ana Volcano and Lake Coatepeque tour! The views from the top of the volcano were absolutely breathtaking, and the entire day was one of the highlights of our trip to El Salvador. Diego was an exceptional guide. I struggled with some of the steeper sections of the hike, but his patience, encouragement, and calm reassurance gave me the confidence to keep going. He never made me feel rushed and checked in on me throughout the climb, making what felt like a difficult hike much more manageable. Thanks to Diego’s support, all five members of our family made it to the summit, and standing at the top together was an unforgettable accomplishment. Diego was also incredibly knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about the volcano, the surrounding area, and El Salvador throughout the day. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for his guests made this tour truly special. He is a wonderful ambassador for El Salvador and represents the warmth and hospitality we experienced throughout our visit. If you’re considering hiking Santa Ana Volcano, don’t hesitate to book this tour. It was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend going with Diego!

You’ll never be bored in El Salvador, the land of volcanoes with rich indigenous heritage and world-class coffee culture. Sightseeing tours focus on the capital, San Salvador, where you can snack on pupusas between visits to key landmarks and the panoramic rainbow slide. National parks abound here, which means plenty of tours that take you hiking around volcanoes and crater lakes, swimming and cliff jumping by waterfalls, and picnicking at sweeping viewpoints. The variety doesn’t stop there: Other El Salvador tours spotlight impressive Mayan ruins and the colorful cobblestoned towns along the Ruta de Las Flores.
