Heading now to the village of Saintes Marie de la Mer, capital of the Camargue, it is also the village where the first Christians arrived in France, by sea, aboard a small boat, Marie Magdelene, Marie Jacobé, Marie Salomé, Marie Sarah. You can stroll through the small streets of the village, visit the mythical Church of Saint Sarah, and have lunch in one of the many restaurants in the village.
