Beautiful cities

Gilles was an awesome guide. Took us through Marseille and then to Aix en Provence where we walked around and enjoyed some treats and coffee. It is a beautiful city, unfortunately it rained and rained hard. Then we went to Cassis and took in some breathtaking views. Halfway through this tour, I got an email that our tour of Monaco was cancelled for no reason and Gilles stepped in and after many phone calls, got us booked for half the price with another tour! It was MUCH appreciated so thank you, thank you Gilles!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Jean, whose passion for Marseille, its history and its gastronomical delights is second to none. We booked this trip last minute due to a change in our cruise itinerary and couldn’t have been happier, was a great way to visit the old town, markets and port whilst trying some amazing dishes along the way and learning about the history and culture of this amazing city. I would do it again!

The meeting point was a little confusing for me but we found it. The tour guide who drove us was very kind and knowledgeable, he had poncho, blanket, very prepared. He also was a gentleman with helping us get in and out of the sidecar. He gave us a great little off road tour and took us where we wanted to go/see. He also took our photos and WHATSAPP messaged us! Worth the two hours and I would definitely recommend!

This experience was so much fun! Our guide, Eric, was so knowledgeable and showed us some amazing parts of the city. We were able to see so much in such a short amount of time. The bike shop is cute and the owners were kind and attentive. Transportation to and from the cruise port was a breeze. I highly recommend this experience as a fun way to see the city!

Thorough excursion and beautiful Marseille!! Olga was great and very knowledgeable!! On time with pick up and drop off . We just had to walk for a few minutes to get to the van from the cruise ship at port . The day prior to the excursion date , received and email from the vendor what time to meet up and where to meet up. Overall , I would recommend it.

Tale of two Cities

This small group tour (eight people) gave us a chance to see two very different municipalities. In Aix en Provence, we were given the option of a guided tour by Audrey, our very amiable tour guide, or striking off on our own to explore the area. I chose the latter, although others on the tour said they enjoyed Audrey’s tour. From there, we were off to the small fishing village of Cassis, where we had a couple of hours to roam the town, have lunch or take a boat tour. (My lunch was one of the highlights of my entire cruise.). I consider this tour to be much preferable to a ship excursion, which usually is more expensive and has a much larger group.

Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re looking for a shore excursion. Tommy is such a great guide. Good communication before the tour, where to meet etc. He has so much knowledge about the area & knows the good spots & timings to miss the crowds. Great recommendations too for dining. Emil was a fantastic tour...

Emil was a fantastic tour guide. He took us through Marseille and then drove us up to see Basilique Notre-Dame dela Garde. So great he was able to drop us off so that we did not have to climb to reach the Basilique. What a beautiful site to see. Next, we drove to Cassis and saw fabulous views of the bay and then went to eat at a restaurant on the bay. We had the best pizza of our trip at the restaurant in France! Highly recommend using him to see Marseille!!

We had a great day touring some of the city, but mostly the national park via e-bikes. Martin was patient with us as had never ridden them before and we caught on quickly. We appreciated the thirty minute break to take a refreshing dip in the Mediterranean. Not only did we see some beautiful sites, but learned something new!

Wonderful cataraman cruise!

Yes! Arno was our captain and he was great! Beautiful cataraman, great lite lunch (meats, cheeses, bread and fruit) with wine and beverages. We anchored to swim in one location and then another for lunch. Arnold was a great tour guide as we traveled around and into harbors. One note: If your cruise boat anchors in the industrial port, taxis at the ship will not take you; too short a distance. And, the free shuttle (1/4 mi away) does not got to the cataraman pier. But, across the street is a taxi stand there. Watch your email for these instructions. "You must go to the Port of Corbière. Be careful not to confuse it with the Port Ouest Marseille, which is a little further away. When you arrive at the Port of Corbière, you should see two orange cranes. Once in the port, walk to the water's edge where the boats are docked. Then look for pontoon 7 and walk along the pontoon to the catamaran." BUT, you must get through a large white electronic gate to the pier. Captain Arno will call a return taxi for you if you ask. Only a 10 minute wait after docking. It's a great cruise.

It was an excellent excursion. Jenny was very informative and we enjoyed her company. We saw many places and she accommodated our requests and slower pace because of my older parents. I highly recommend this excursion while visiting the port of Marseille rather than buying the ship excursion, it is worth the $$$.
