What are people saying about Avignon

Very, very highly recommended
Fun and great learning experience. A tour of the vineyard and winery followed by tastings. Really knowledgeable and informative winemaker whose enthusiasm and passion shone through. Next was a tasting that showcased the changing wine styles in Chateauneuf du Pape. Very well explained and interesting. We then went to a vineyard to see the famous pebbles covering the ground, again really interesting. The tour was run by two cousins who were knowledgeable, warm and a lot of fun. They went to great lengths to try and make it a goo experience for us. Thanks so much for a great day and we will recommend you to anyone coming to the area.

A brilliant trip with guide Anne
An excellent experience. Anne was a brilliant guide and was very knowledgeable. The theatre was interesting, the wine tasting very nice and the Pont du Gard was just amazing. We both really enjoyed it. I’d pay more to have food at the wine tasting but that’s just personal preference. It was a great trip with plenty of time to do everything so I would recommend it. Especially if you get Anne as your guide!

Marveling at ancient Roman engineering in Provence
Very good experience. Our guide adjusted well to running into many road blockages in Nimes because of a bank holiday marathon and a major demonstration on May Day. None-the-less, lots of time lost in Nimes due to having to walk large distances. Things went more smoothly in Pont du Gard and Uses. Enough time to sight see and have lunch. Roman sites were amazing.

One of the best day tours...
One of the best day tours we’ve taken through Viator — and Gordana is the reason why. We joined the Highlights of Provence tour and from the moment Gordana greeted in the morning, we knew we were in good hands. She immediately put everyone at ease and set the tone for what turned out to be a truly memorable day. The tour runs about 8.5 hours — a full day, no question — but very worthwhile. Gordana’s knowledge of the region is impressive, and more importantly, her genuine passion for Provence comes through in everything she shares. The region is stunning, and we saw so many beautiful sights. If you have limited time in Avignon and want to make the most of it, this tour is a must. We can’t recommend Gordana highly enough.
