Anne was nice, professional and knowledgeable to share various history at each stop. We had a wonderful time touring the beautiful towns and sufficient time for taking photos.

My husband and I had the most amazing wine tour, and our wonderful guide, Coline, made the experience truly special. She was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, sharing so much about the wines, the region, and the winemaking process while keeping everything fun, relaxed, and interesting. Beyond being an excellent guide, she was also such a sweet, warm, and personable young woman. We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with her, and she made us feel comfortable and well taken care of from beginning to end. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to France, and an experience we will remember for a long time. Emily, our tour guide was engaging with all of us (6) on the tour. She made it feel more personal than being on a busload of strangers. After the second winery stop, I realized this was not a 3 hour tour. With Emily's help and the wonderful consideration of the other two couples, they got us back to our ship before it left the port. I sincerely thank all of you for helping us in a panic situation. When I booked the tour I thought it was a 3 hour tour (see copied text from Viator below), but turns out it was for 5 hours. Itinerary Chateauneuf-du-Pape Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of the most famous names in wine. The landscape here is sun-baked, with stony, sandy soils, dry scrubland, and of course, lots of vines. Châteauneuf-du-Pape has served as a gateway to the wine world. Emily was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! She has personality plus and just made learning and experiencing the local villages a delight. It felt like I was a local hanging out with a family friend. Emily’s cast knowledge of the areas history is impressive and she was eager to answer all questions. She has excellent navigation and drives through the villages and towns flawlessly. Emily made a point to keep us hydrated and comfortable. She is more than a guide, I would say she’s an Ambassador for Tourism because she left me wanting to take every other tour her company offers. Our guide was so understanding. She explained some of the local nuances with food like olive oil in ice cream. I plan to try this at home now!!!! She went out of her way to find me a tea shop. She got our dessert to go when she realized we'd miss our train otherwise then went with us to the train station to be sure we were OK. She also explained the local festival going on. She was great. This is worth trying

We met up and walked thru Avignon, up to the gardens at Palais de Papes and Rhone overlook, then wonderful guided tour of Palais de Papes. We wrapped it up with two enjoyable glasses of local wine. (Afterwards we enjoyed a wonderful meal at restaurant recommended by our guide)

Perfect Highlight Tour of the Area

Frederico was absolutely perfect! He was knowledgeable, funny, and was genuinely fun to be around all day. I cannot say enough good things about his service and tour! The little towns throughout the area are all different and interesting. We especially appreciated the Spring, Le Beaux, and Pont du Gard. We travelled to three vineyards in the chateau nef du pap region with our guide Natalie who was the most gracious and knowledgeable guide. I’m each location we were received with gracious hospitality great wine and wisdom. We left better understanding French wines and worth several bottles we will continue to enjoy on our journey.
