Wonderful Experience

From the moment Geraldine picked us up I knew we were going to have a great day. She was not only delightful to be with, but was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the locations we visited. We learned so much about the area, the kings, queens, mistresses, building issues, etc. We had ample time to have lunch in Ambois, and visit the castle where da Vinci was buried. It was a perfect day.

This tour was fabulous! Magical experience in Amboise/ Loire Valley. The guides were so experienced that we felt completely safe. My 87-year-old father even participated in the experience. The company was very cautious about the weather and the winds. There was lots of communication with Kevin days in advance and the day of the tour to make sure it was safe. The flight was so peaceful, soaring over castles and a picture-perfect landscape. We were in a basket for 6 people. Kevin, our pilot, was excellent and so experienced. His mother use to fly hot air ballons. They do have different sizes so you might ask when booking. The drinks after the flight were a sweet way to end the experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour and Ballon Revolution company!

Exceptional and Unique Wine Tasting

Our guide took us on an unusual path through wine caves of a small family owned winery. As we meandered through the underground, we learned so much about the special process of growing grapes to the bottling of this region's wine. Our guide, I wish I remembered his name, was fabulous as he presented some of the best cheeses that paired deliciously with the wines we were tasting. I highly recommend this tour.

Great Experience in Amboise!

Great experience in an historic wine cave. Guide was a sommelier who was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Wine pairing was nicely done, simple with a few cheeses and meats. Very nice 1.5 activity and just minutes from Amboise and the gorgeous Chateau.

We ended up with a private tour with Flore. This was one of the highlights of our time in the Loire Valley. Flore was very knowledgeable on a host of relevant subjects. Her information on both chateaux helped us understand the historical and social contexts of the buildings, the people who built them and those who lived in them. These buildings are splendid and shouldn’t be missed. We had sufficient time to tour and sufficient free time to spend in areas that interested us. I recommend this tour, and Flore, very highly.

Amazing tour!

I was a little hesitant at first to book because of the price, but it was totally worth it! Aurelia really knew every detail about the wines in this region and the history as well, she was so easy going and answered all of our questions, had plenty to teach us and had a great relationship with the wine makers. Wonderful start to my wife's birthday!

While she was hesitant to do a wine tasting early in the day, my wife was quickly onboard after a few minutes with Alycea. She was an AMAZING guide and taught us more about French wine than we ever knew. I now have such a greater appreciation when shopping for French wine now and it is all thanks to Alycea. Fun in Loire Valley.

It was a lovely day. Our guide Chloe was very informative and friendly and had a wonderful disposition. We especially enjoyed the gardens at Villandry. The setting of Chateau D'Azay-Le-Roseau was also fantastic. The 2 small wineries we visited were very interesting and the wines we tried were very good. Their stories of how they came to be were especially entertaining. The caves used by each winery as part of their production and storage facilities are well worth a visit.
