Your aerial adventure begins with pick-up from your hotel and a transfer by 4x4 to the launch site, where you’ll have chance to watch the balloon being inflated. After a safety briefing, hop aboard and hold on tight as you take off and float up high into the sky.
Look down over the rolling hills of the Loire Valley as you soar overhead and snap photos of the patchwork of vineyards, orchards and forests, stretching along the banks of the Loire River. While in the air, listen to your pilot’s commentary as you fly over the over the Loire, Indre or Cher Valleys, then swoop over magnificent châteaux like Villandry, Amboise or Chenonceau, and watch the sunrise or sunset over the Loire.
As you come in to land, a glass of champagne and a personalized flight certificate will be waiting for you. After celebrating your safe landing with a toast, hop back in the 4x4 and end your tour with a drop-off at your hotel.

Good news bad news this was a bucket list item accomplished, but now I want to go again! I’m hooked.
It was an awesome experience and they were so accommodating moving up my date to avoid bad weather. Our balloon pilot was excellent, he knew his stuff and I felt very safe. The French country side lived up to all expectations. I’ve wanted to do this so much ever since seeing the balloon ride video at the Epcot French exhibit and it exceeded my expectations. Thank you

Do not hesitate! This was such a wonderful experience. I had initial trepidation but in the very experienced hands of Kevin and his team, I did not need to. To be travelling in the open air, so quiet & peaceful, gazing at beautiful scenery, it’s something I won’t forget and I’m so glad I did it! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This was my first Balloon ride. The pilot was amazing and his control of the Balloon was pure perfection. We even skimmed the top of a wheat field! The views over the Loire Valley Chateaus was picture perfect beauty and I was amazed at the details we could see from that high up. What surprised me the most was the silence and serenity I felt. SOOOOO worth it!

My friend and I did this hot air balloon tour as we were looking for something different to do. It is worth every penny it was beyond peaceful seeing the entire valley at sunset and the staff/crew was engaging knowledgeable and kept us safe. I guess it is the most important part. Highly recommend can't say enough good thing about this excursion.

Both the pilot and the assistants were very professional. Everything from the hotel pickup to takeoff, fly and landing were executed perfectly. Air time is also enough to see the chateau, river, vineyards, and the forests. The only letdown for me was that the instructions and the narration were provided only in French, which made it difficult to truly enjoy the experience.

This experience was nothing short of magical. Everything was seamless and everyone who worked for the tour company was so kind and helpful. We really appreciated their commitment to safety and professionalism, monitoring the wind, weather, etc for the planned date several days in advance and explaining all the needed safety information before the flight. Beautiful views and great crew! You will be asked to help put the basket on the truck, deflate the balloon and load into the carrier. Those with physical constraints will find this challenging. I have a pulled back and there seniors in our group that found this very challenging. This should have been mentioned as a requirement. In other balloon rides I have done they had a crew do this as part of the cost.

THE MOST INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this trip was, it was the highlight of our week. Balloon Revolution did a fantastic job preparing for our flight. Our original trip was rescheduled due to weather and they were helpful and accommodating around our schedule. Kevin did a fantastic job keeping in close contact with us regarding changes and pickup/drop off itinerary. Tom did an amazing job videoing the flight from the drone, and the pictures/videos were a very reasonable and absolutely worth the price. You MUST book this trip!
My only negative feedback was that we had to aid in the landing/teardown process while on the sandy beach of the Loire river, which was not anticipated. We assisted in deflating and folding the balloon - not a problem but more of a heads up to future travelers to wear appropriate pants and footwear for off-roading.

We happened to pick a perfect day. Warm for October, clear skies, and very little breeze. What wind there was floated us over two chateaus - something the pilot told us only happens 10 percent of the time. Beautiful flight, gorgeous views, on a perfect day.

The team was prompt and prepared. The pilot, Kevin, was so safe. He communicate well in French and English. We saw other ballons going too low (in the river) and too high.( in the clouds). Kevin did not do anything that was foolish and made sure we had a good trip. It was beautiful. This company had max of 12 people. Other companies take 25 at a time and I would not like that.

Beautiful. Peaceful! Floating on air! Literally.
Our guide explained to us exactly what the plan was. What to expect. We felt very safe. I very much valued our host/pilot did not talk during our flight. It was it’s the beauty of taking in the views and the beautiful quiet.

This activity would have been nice, but they called and canceled everything just 30 minutes before the start time, just as we were traveling there (very excited to do this special event to celebrate our son's HS graduation). The organization had great communication beforehand and even changed the time from 7pm to 7:30pm just days earlier. When they called to cancel at 7pm that night, they said it was too windy. I do not fault them for canceling due to safety - I appreciate their wisdom. What I fault them for was not planning ahead and suggesting a different, earlier time. Why move our time from 7 to 7:30pm if you're just going to cancel due to weather - if you see bad wether coming - move the time earlier. We would have foregone the sunset to get the ballon ride in. At the time they canceled, it was not that windy (IMO), but I do trust their judgment since many online experts say that you need almost a 100% still day. So my warning to anyone booking this: Is enjoy it if it happens - but do not get your hopes up. At the time they canceled, they said they were canceling all flights for the next 5 days. I suspect they have a high percentage of cancellations. I only wish we could have done it - it was to be the highlight of our visit to the Loire. We were so sad not to do it. :-(

We regret your comment which obviously reflects your ignorance. We cancel less than 5% of our flights; we never do it for pleasure. These are the aleas of any airline for whom the weather is a determining factor in safety, and our priority.
As for schedules, for your information, these are dictated by the meteorology specific to ballooning.
ps: I think it's totally inappropriate to be a critic and give a 1-star rating for purely meteorological and therefore safety reasons.

The flight over the forest was the best bit and that surprised me as I expected that the chateaux would be unbeatable.
Seeing deer and rabbits running was memorable too.
We are all still recovering from the bumpy landing with bruises, cuts and twisted knees. All minor and nearly recovered and we understand that the wind came up for the last 10mins and we were headed towards houses so the landing has to be sudden.
Thanks Nicolas for you help with our friend John as without that he could never have had this experience that he so enjoyed.

Our group and guide pretty much exclusively spoke French which made it difficult to follow what we were looking at or be oriented to the area. The flight and the landing were smooth but I wouldn’t classify this as an “English” tour as our guide maybe spoke 15 words in English the entire time and spoke French the rest.
