Highly recommend!

Good overall

Each activity was short, but nothing felt rushed. Our guide was knowledgeable and she told us a lot about the history of Costa Rica and each place we visited. We saw lots of different animals including alligators, monkeys, tons of different birds and even sloths right up close. Overall it was a good tour.

Fabulous time!

EN: The Sloth and Kayak tour was amazing! Our tour guide, Juanito, was very kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the various flora and fauna along the river. He was an expert in spotting animals and helping us see them so we could enjoy them and take pictures. The experience was very fun and relaxing. I would absolutely do a tour with him again next time I’m in Puerto Viejo. ESP: ¡El tour de perezosos y kayak fue increíble! Nuestro guía, Juanito, fue muy amable, simpático y conocía a la perfección la flora y fauna del río. Era un experto en avistar animales y nos ayudó a verlos para que pudiéramos disfrutarlos y tomarles fotos. La experiencia fue muy divertida y relajante. Sin duda, volvería a hacer un tour con él la próxima vez que visite Puerto Viejo.

Best guide and you need a good guide!

Fantastic trip. Adrian was an extremely knowledgeable guide. We saw loads of species, 2 and 3 toe sloths, snakes, various lizard, iguana, butterflies, monkeys and many others, we would not have spotted half of them without him. Not only did we see them but he explained so much about them. You definitely need a guide in the Cahuita park and Adrian was fantastic, he even helped other guides to see things. We didn’t get deep into the park as we saw so much and were taking our time to look at the various species. We took a short break at the beach before heading out and on to Bri Bri falls. A shorter visit but to suit us and Adrian again pointed out various species including tree frogs and bullet ants en route then took us down to the falls where you can swim or sit on the rocks and dip your toes in. Supplied a fruit snack and biscuits! You could also get coconut water here. I can’t recommend this tour and Adrian the guide enough. We wish we’d known about him sooner as he does tours to Manzanillo too. Well worth it if you actually want to see and learn about the various animals, reptiles, birds, fauna and flora of Costa Rica. You even get a pick up and drop off, still back in time to have some afternoon left over.

Wonderful day in Costa Rica

This private tour was incredible! We were met by our guides Kathi and George were very knowledgeable and pointed out treasures of the jungle we would have never been able to find. We were fortunate enough to see sloths monkeys crocs and iguanas. They took very good care of us providing bottles of water and fresh fruit. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour group!

Great Costa Rica experience

Highly recommend this tour - thanks to Larry (tour guide) and Eric (driver) we had a great day. We were picked up right outside the cruise terminal. Learnt so much about the culture and customs of Limon. Larry was excellent explaining the workings of the banana plantation. Enjoyed the canal boat ride where we made many stops to see a variety of birds, monkeys, sloths and crocodiles. Had a really fun time - great way to see parts of Costa Rica via a cruise ship.

The complete Limon experience

This tour is a complete experience of Limon. We started the tour with a cruise of the Tortuguero Canal. Our guides got us up close to wildlife which made for fantastic pictures. Then on to a banana and coffee plantation with shopping included where we purchased some coffee to take with us. Our guide, Natalie, was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited. Our driver, Fernando, was phenomenal as he negotiated the roads. This was a wonderful introduction to Limon which I would highly recommend.

Zip Line was Amazing!!

My friends and husband told me they would try a zip line, if I would . Boy! Did we pick the right one!!! Everyone had a fabulous time and the guides were superb! Jose was our guide on the island and we had a nice boat ride on the canal and a short trip to a banana plantation. Those two were fine, but the zip line will be with us forever! It was thrilling, but without fear. Those guys were real pros and what a ride! The zip line was high, long and fast. Well worth every cent!
