It was a great time, I would definitely recommend. We were the only two in our group but the max size is four so we got to know our guide well. We saw howler monkeys and many birds as we went down the river. There was a rope swing as well which was very fun!

We had an awesome time at the Mistico bridge tour. 100% recommend paying for a guide. We had a lovely woman named Gabby who seemed really passionate about the wildlife of Costa Rica and she helped us spot so much wildlife that we would NEVER have seen otherwise. We brought our almost 5-month-old in a carrier. The site does have strollers for rent but we were glad we opted for the carrier for some of the steeper spots. The tour lasted about 2.5 hours. We saw monkeys, a tarantula, snakes, wild boars, frogs and lots of birds. Highly recommend this activity!!

This was a great tour....
This was a great tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about all the nature and wildlife around us and we got to enjoy it because he did most of the rowing! We saw tons of animals and there was even a sloth in the beginning of the trip. The tour ended at a small farm where we had a snack that was delicious. Highly recommend for a more relaxing but enjoyable tour.

You won’t regret it!
Zel was our guide and was amazing we saw a family of monkeys on our way and he took amazing videos for us the horseback ride to and from the waterfall is a must because the hike there is a deep workout but definitely worth it once you get there it’s amazing .

Fun & Easy Adventure
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience! My wife and I have never ridden horses before, our guide Danny showed us how to handle them and they were well tempered for the ride up and back, about half an hour each way. At the top of the ride is a trailhead with about 500 steps down to the base of the waterfall. It is steep but as someone who hikes often it was not difficult, most of it is well maintained stairs and hand railing. There is a narrow river out of the waterfall that’s about 3 feet deep you have to cross to get to the rock formation to approach the waterfall itself and swim around there. Good idea to bring a bag with water shoes and a towel for this portion.

This was a really cool experience. We definitely recommend going first thing in the morning and taking the Mirador volcano viewpoint trail (not sure the exact name but it was the dirt trail off the Rufous Garden). We were all alone and walking through cloudy mist was beautiful. My 66 year-old mother and 8 year-old daughter were able to do this with no problems and only minimal complaining :-)
This was a very cool experience and definitely worth it.

Riding through paradise
This was hands down the best experience ever! Riding horses through the river was absolutely unforgettable. Our guide was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring—he made us feel so comfortable, like we were just talking to family. We even got lucky and had the entire tour to ourselves, which made it even more special. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone!

Once in a life time horse riding experience
Absolutely brilliant experience! Mariano matched each of us perfectly with our horses. The horses were impeccably behaved. We learnt so much about the local area, wildlife, fruits and plants along the way. We spotted toucans, a huge iguana and some beautiful birds. After our ride we ate rose apples, guavas and sugar cane from our trip. We then had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. All the horses were so well looked after. It was an incredible day. Thank you so much Mariano for such a fantastic day.

Once in a lifetime experience!
This was a once in a lifetime experience! It exceeded my friends and I’s expectations! David was so kind, hospitable, and funny. It was evident he’d been doing this a while. Two of my friends had never ridden a horse but had no problem since the horses were so well trained. After the horseback riding and swimming, we went back to eat at their restaurant which was great. We would come back in a heartbeat!
