Best Fijian experience run by friendly people

Awesome experience with very friendly and helpful staff. I don't understand what the negative/ poor reviews are about. This is a weather dependent activity. Our experience has been nothing short of amazing. Right from arranging transfers till drop off in the evening, it was beautifully organised. Car arrived at our hotel on time, dropped off at marina, the staff checked us in and guided to waiting area. The number of guests were many and we were taken in two boats which was much pleasant personalised service. At every stop the staff helped us with snorkeling, swimming, belly flops before serving lunch at the island. Snacks and drinks were provided throughout. An amazing day on the water.

A perfect day in paradise

A perfect day- well organized, lovely crew, clean, great food and drinks. The boat was comfortable w choices of seating- bean bags on the trampoline in the sun or tables w bench seating under a tarp for those wanting shade. The snorkeling was great- different types of coral, blue starfish, tons of black and white “zebra” fish swimming all around me- even touching me- so cool. The white sandy cay we stopped at was also clean and nicely set up w plenty of beach chairs to look out at the gorgeous sapphire sea and lushy, hilly islands- a pavilion for those who wanted shade. One could swim/snorkel to the cay or ride on a motorized dinghy if preferred. Lunch was great w veggies, salad, swordfish and more including generous pours of wine, beer, water or soft drinks. We had the best Tuesday of our lives thanks to this fun day trip.

We really enjoyed this Nadi day tour experience, it covered few main point of interest and ended with mud bath and hot springs. Temple business highlight. Visit to gardens was very informative. Felt like a movie star!

Clear instructions were given ahead of time regarding where to locate. The driver tracked my flight which was delayed an hour. He held a sign with my name. Made me feel like I was in a movie! Our driver was friendly and offered advice on what to do in the area as well as safety tips in nearby cities. The price was much better than the cruise line’s transfer price, and we didn’t have to wait on a bus for everyone else to arrive. Definitely recommend.

Highly recommended if you want to learn more about Fijian culture

The hotel pick-up was sensibly scheduled to avoid us having to spend too much time sitting in the bus. All the staff at the Cultural Village were very welcoming, and especially the lady who was guiding us around the different stations at the village was particularly enthusiastic and tried her best to build on the at times less than enthusiastic energy that we gave back to her. The performances were great too. Aside from the breathtakingfire dances, I also enjoyed hearing the close harmonies of the local songs that they sang and danced to. The audience (myself included) were not particularly enthusiastic to engage in the audience participation segment, but the performers made the best of the situation. There was a wide spread of food that was served, and at least for the day i was there, when they were only at around half capacity, there was more than enough food for everyone. Do come prepared for the inevitable mosquitoes, but they do give you repellent for those. Also, you might want to watch out not to accidentally step on a cane toad, as while we were there several of them were crawling across the field between the main stage and the are where they do the lovo. But that shouldn't stop you from signing up for this tour. The staff all deserve a good tip for their efforts.

Fantastic crews and amazing experience! Special thanks to Bale!

We had an amazing day trip to the beautiful Mamanuca Islands, with pristine turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and stunning scenery! The experience was made even more special by our hosts, Bale. From pick-up to the cruise, island stay, and return journey, everything was handled so smoothly. She went above and beyond to take care of us and our 10-month-old baby, making us feel genuinely cared for like family. It was truly wonderful to be in her care throughout the day. Joe, the dive instructor, was also incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the experience. The location is breathtaking, but it was the warmth and genuine care of the Captain Cook Fiji crew that truly made the day unforgettable. Thank you for such a memorable experience—we would highly recommend it!

Village time and lollipops

Beautiful ride up the river, excellent village tour, and meal. If you haven’t done a Fiji village, this may be the best I’ve seen as far as the time they spent in the welcoming ceremony and the time they spent with you touring their village. It’s not the same village every day so your experience may be slightly different, but the Boat captain was from our village and that made a big difference in the way we were accepted. The river is beautiful and volatile. The jet boat was not scary, but it was really cool how it would go over such shallow water. At the end, they do multiples to 360s and get you wet, but it’s not till the end so you don’t get cold. We had a couple kids on board and they were fine with the 360s. I thought they were a bit lackluster, but it is fun to get wet at the end. They kind of turned it into a little amusement park with the 360s.. the most important thing is once you get to Sigatoka if you don’t have lollipops already go to one of the mini stores and get a bag. The kids were so appreciative of a simple lolly. And they would not come and try to get a second one. It was pretty cool.

As an avid ocean lover I...

As an avid ocean lover I loved this experience. Greated by locals signing the Island was beautiful and although I was skeptical from previous reviews about the amount of time in the water with the sharks it was a fair amount of time for a scheldued day trip. We had free time after our shark dive / lunch and was able to utalise this to snorkel off the beach and enjoy the ocean even more (although no sharks in that close unfortunetly!).

Perfect Relaxing Day

This tour to the island was incredible! We were fortunate enough to secure a private cabana on the island’s other side. It was a serene spot with a breathtaking view of the ocean, accompanied by a refreshing breeze. Our private butler was attentive and brought us delicious food and refreshing drinks throughout the day. Later, they even brought us a cool washcloth and some delightful cookies. It was an amazing and relaxing day that we both truly needed.

We had a very lovely...

We had a very lovely time. All the staff were very friendly. They even did a little extra to help take my wife and her POC (oxygen machine) out where she could be in the water for awhile without having to worry about her hose being in people's ways. It was the perfect amount of people hanging out . And the food and drink was good. I would definitely recommend this to other people as well as being willing to come back again if we come back to Fiji.

Fun party, unlike anything I’ve done before!

Absolutely fun, high energy yet somewhat relaxing experience!! You get picked up, you are taken to Denarau Marina, you get a voucher of $60 FJD per person, you get on a boat. Up till now, you are not explained anything. 20min into the boat ride, you get a safety briefing and itinerary overview that you cannot hear lol. That’s the vibe- come here, have fun, don’t worry- everything will be alright! You get to the floating island: snatch a day bed as soon as you can. Snorkel gear does not come with a breathing apparatus FYI, I recommend bringing your own and perhaps also inflatable tubes. Brick oven pizza that is delicious, Vegas pool style cocktails in the middle of no where. Not a care in this world and you totally unplug!! This is cashless, there were no tip jars. It was pretty much impossible to tip because they all jumped in to help you, you didn’t get one guy that kept coming after you because you tipped him. We had a great time, it was such a memorable experience and captured a vibe that we never experienced before. Boat ride back, everyone was dancing and singing.
