Wow! What an amazing experience! Just don't hesitate to book as you honestly won't be disappointed. From booking to getting home the whole experience was fantastic and 5* just doesn't seem enough.
I've never met such friendly and warm hearted people as all the staff who help to run this, from the driver through to the guides. They certainly help to make it a memorable day!
Three boat trip alone is wonderful, up the river into the jungle surrounded by a tropical paradise but then you get to the village that can only be reached by river. We feel very honoured to have visited and seen village life, everyone just goes about their business but make you feel very welcome. Leon gave us a great insight into a little piece of Fijian history too. After the village you get back on the boats and sail back down the river to a stunning waterfall where you can swim or if your brave5 enough, jump off the rocks!!
Then it's lunch time, very chilled at the riverside where you can sample a few Fijian staples.
After lunch the real fun begins and you get to float down the river in the tubes.
The guides and the boats are with you all the time so you feel in very safe hands. What a truly amazing experience but the highlight had to be when we'd all grouped together in our tubes in the middle of the river and the guides sang us some traditional Fijian songs. It was a beautiful moment that we'll never forget!

The reviews on this site are excellent, but the experience was even better than others have described! This (whole) family run enterprise is well organised, and we were made to feel really looked after from start to finish. The tubing was the highlight including the beautiful singing, food was excellent and we enjoyed seeing the village, the longboat ride up 17km of river and the swimming in the waterfall. Lunch also unhurried and delightful. We did this as a shore excursion from a cruise and the transfers to and from were also done well, and provided good information about the trip and Fiji generally. The photographs of the day we were offered at the end were numerous and good quality at a great price!

It was a great experience from beginning to end for our family of 3. The bus picked us up at the port, and delivered us to the departure point on the river. Everything was clear and well explained. We wanted a tour which was a little different. This met our needs. Our guides Peter in the water) and Ben on the bus were excellent. The tour took us down the river on boat to a remote village. It was interesting to see how the people lived day to day. This was followed by an excellent lunch, a visit to a remote waterfall and then we mounted the inner tubes and headed upstream. The trip was so much fun. We went through two or three rapids, which made you feel like a kid again. Our guide, Peter watched over us all the way and made sure that we were completely safe. A quick change of clothes at the end, and we boarded the bus back to the ship. Even though it rained on and off, the whole day was great. Highly recommended.

River tubing in Fiji was hands down one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm “Bula!” right as we stepped out of the car, and the hospitality never stopped from there. The drive from Nadi was definitely long, but absolutely worth every minute.
Our tour guide, Ben, was incredible—so helpful, friendly, and accommodating the entire day. It started off raining pretty hard, but he kept the energy up and made sure we were still having a great time. Once the rain cleared, it turned into the perfect day.
We took a scenic boat ride up the river to a local village, where we got to experience authentic daily life and meet the villagers. It was such a genuine and memorable experience—something we’ll never forget.
After visiting the village, we headed back downriver for lunch, which was delicious and exactly what we needed before tubing. The tubing itself was an absolute blast, and the guides made it even more special by singing traditional Fijian songs along the way.
Overall, an unforgettable day filled with adventure, culture, and amazing people. This is an absolute must-do if you’re visiting Fiji!

This excursion was the highlight of our trip. Dougie was a wonderful guide and took very great care of myself and my mom during the entire ride/float on the river. I highly recommend doing this excursion, even if you can't swim, they provide solid life jackets and I felt very safe.

It was fantastic! Our guide, Winnie, was awesome! The entire team was great. It is a must do when visiting Fiji. The tour was just as advertised. You get to see parts of Fiji you wouldn’t see otherwise and learn more about the history of the country.

So much fun!
Beautiful scenery, relaxing boat ride to start.
Fun waterfall swimming and opportunities to cliff jump.
Lunch was great.
It was torrentially downpouring and lightning but we still went tubing which added to the excitement… and the waterfalls were gushing on the way back because of the rain!
I went solo… still felt welcome and included.
Would be great with a group or as couples too!

We were picked up from our resort and made our way to The Navua River, our driver was lovely.
Leon was our tour guide and with our group right the way through (for the boat rides, tubing and village visit)
He was very knowledgeable and so much fun! We all had an absolute blast!! All of the guides were so lovely and polite, I would do it again 10 times over!

There is a reason this excursion has such high ratings. I have booked many tours and this one is at the top. The ride up the river was absolutely beautiful. The waterfalls were amazing and the food was good. Then we got in the tubes. The guides are so knowledgeable and take such good care of the guests that it was just a blast. But the best part was when all the guides started singing. In perfect harmony bouncing off the canyon walls. It brought me to tears. So beautiful. This is a must do tour!

I had a great time on this tour, the tour guides at every stage/site made sure we were talking care of from head to toe. I felt safe throughout the entire process. One of Fiji top things to do.

Jam-packed with activities! Watershoes a must! An hour’s drive by AC bus, followed by longboats of 8 guests up the jungle-lined river to a remote village accessible only by boat. (Company owners contribute part of our fares toward improvements like flush-toilets, solar panels providing light and a satellite dish for watching rugby.) Then another brief longboat ride to a refreshing swim under a waterfall, accessed by an uneven path, longboats again to a delicious and abundant lunch. From our lunch spot, an hour of tubing downriver accompanied by staff extremely attentive to safety, over just three gentle rapids. (Ravu was a star, my helpful guide, my “uber-tuber”!) And staff sang the most wonderful songs as we floated. About as perfect as an excursion could be!!!

What a great tour! We were picked up at the cruise ship dock in Lautoka and driven to River Tubing drop off place on the river, into the long boats, and up the river we went. Great scenery on the way to the village. Back down river to the waterfall and then a great lunch on the shore of the river. Next, onto the inner tubes for the float part of the trip. It was great fun to relax and let the current take you down with the guides there to watch out for everyone. Midway through enjoyed some traditional Fijian songs by all the guides. I would highly recommend this tour…it was one of the best experiences of our trip.

It isn’t enough that the lunch and cultural tour and boat ride was extremely sufficient but then to go on the actual waterfall and experience the pristine and beautiful waters then to go on the rapids through the tubing you would have to be an imbecile not to book this, it’s a once in a lifetime if you are a panic or nervous just book it. It is far far exceeds western safety standards and is once in a lifetime anyone who doesn’t book this tour is an imbecile.

Would not change anything about the trip. The scenery is beautiful and guides were very fun and engaging with the group. Shout out to Solo and Ty who were the guide and driver for out boat, very kind and always made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip.

We had an excellent time with the River Tubing Fiji. Our Driver Pernell, picked us up right on time at our hotel, and there were plenty of stops to grab snacks and stretch our feet while we picked up other adventures along the way. The entire crew was amazing, including Ben, Duggie, and all the others. The food was delicious and plentiful. Would recommend to anyone else looking for another way to explore Fiji and see the island. This was only our second day on the island and it was a great way to jumpstart the rest of our vacation!!

The best experience we had in Fiji!
This is a must do for all tourists!
We were picked up in a air con bus - the travel time was almost 2.5 hrs - which is the only bad part but it is so worth it!
We reached the place and it was surrounded by greenery and the air is so fresh and clean!
We were given our safety briefing by Ben who is a senior guide and was also our guide as well.
We were taken by a boat to the village, met the locals, took a walk around it and also drank fresh coconut water picked by a boy right in front of us - if that is not fresh I don't know what is!
Then we went to the waterfall - it was a short walk up the hill. I had a 3 yo toddler. Ben kindly offered to carry her which made it a bit easy for me. The waterfall was so much fun! The water was cold and refreshing!
We then went to have lunch cooked by the village ladies and it was delicious! They also sang for us and were like professionals - all in synce - absolutely mesmerising!
Then came the finale - getting on the tubes and going down the river - all the guides were super helpful.
If you are a family - we get linked together using our legs and we go down the river together - so much safer and mentally assured that we are ok!
We had John who helped us down the river and he was amazing!
At the end, we could purchase the photos & get souvenirs - all very reasonably priced and it helps the community.
We loved every minute of it!
A special shout out to Praneel - our driver who was amazing!
Highly highly recommend to all!!

We are sorry to see this review, as it does not reflect what occurred on the day. You were picked up and did attend the tour, however there was a delay in transport, for which we sincerely apologised both at the time and in follow-up communication.
The delay was caused by a booking information issue that was not forwarded to us in time, resulting in additional guests arriving at the pickup point and requiring us to organise extra transport. Once we became aware that you were still waiting, an additional vehicle was dispatched immediately to collect you.
We fully acknowledge that the delay was frustrating and apologise again for the inconvenience. However, we did show up, and your tour did proceed as booked.

Bula, the driver Picked us up in Nadi for an additional cost. It was a 3 hr drive to the tour site, but it was well worth it. We had an amazing day. Everyone was so helpful, the area was beautiful and the food delicious. The boat ride couldn’t be beat and the tubing was great , too! Would definitely do it again. Thanks, Dougie, you were fantastic helping me through the rapids.
Vanaka. If you go, take a few gifts for the village children. We didn’t know about it but some did and they were so happy to get them. We had a delightful lunch and the serenade while rafting was superb.

It was a very long bus ride from Nadi. We started at 6:00am and got back around 6:30pm so be prepared for a long day. The boat ride was fun and the lunch spread they had was very good. It was unfortunately raining so a little bit cold but it was so nice floating down the river in the tubes. Be prepared to use some arm muscles to paddle yourself. Overall a wholesome experience

We had an awesome time with Ben and Patrick as our guides. The day was very well organised with our pickup at 7:30 from the intercontinental, we had one other stop and arrived around 9:45. The tour included a boat trip through the Navua river past waterfalls, rainforest and amazing birds. We visited the local village and were given a tour of their farm/garden. We then visited a waterfall which we were able to swim under. Absolutely spectacular. We were then provided lunch (get the coconut fish!!) and prepared for tubing. The tubing was stunning, we had a little bit of rain which was actually lovely as we floated down the river with a special serenade at the end. An amazing day!
Note: bring a waterproof bag/ phone case, sunscreen and water. Trip does take 2-2.5 hours from coral coast each way, but totally worth it!
