Exceptional day
This was just an outstanding day covering the best of North Iceland in a small group. Siggi was an excellent, engaging and knowledgeable guide explaining everything from folklore to geology, considerate and helpful and an excellent safe driver to boot. I couldn't fault any of this day, best tour I've ever done anywhere. Simply magnificent 👌

Iceland is my new guilty pleasure
This experience was jam packed with amazing sights and endless wonders of the world to see.. Our driver/tour guide (Ziggy) went above and beyond.. He was very knowledgable, kind and made everybody feel very comfortable, relaxed and made sure we were all happy.. The best tour I have been on in all my 50 years travelling!.. Thank you so much to Ziggy for making the experience so unique and special xx

Loved this tour
Easy to find, down at the harbour, very friendly staff. Children have to wear a life jacket, which honestly made me feel better, even if child wasn't impressed. You can sit inside the boat and be warmer or step outside on to the dexk at either the front or back of the boat. We went out down the fjord and then stopped, one of the staff members, I didn't get their name, but was talking about the whale and other mammals that frequent the area. Also pointed out where to look when the whales came by. Such an amazing experience, absolutely loved seeing the whales. It is cold out in the fjord but they do provide thermal suits, waterproof coats and warm drinks on board, read the side of the paper cups for the must-do check list whilst in Akureyri

Akureyri sits in Iceland’s northern fjords, making it the ideal starting point to explore what’s known as the Diamond Circle, which includes Lake Mývatn, formed by a volcanic eruption, the waterfalls of Goðafoss and Dettifoss, and the whale-watching town of Húsavík. With its hot springs, bubbling mud pools, and lava formations, this region will fascinate even the most seasoned traveler. Akureyri day trips ensure you can experience these diverse landscapes with ease, thanks to organized transport and guides sharing history and folklore along the way.
