Pulpit Rock with Kenth
Our guide (Kenth) was great! He was helpful and made sure we were wearing the right type of clothing and hiking shoes. I have a fear of heights, everything was fine but 100 meters before Pulpit Rock I stopped and stayed put. Kenth guided our group to Pulpit Rock, then came back for me. Thanks Kenth, you made our day!!!

Grace's Birthday!
The walk does need a reasonable degree of fitness. This walk would not suit anyone with knee or hip problems.
Our guide, Rasen (from Denmark) was very good. He looked after us all well & kept the whole group together, stopping when needed for rests & for everyone to stay together.
Pick up & drop off were both on time. Communication prior to our trip was good.
We had a really enjoyable day for Grace's birthday! 😁

Alfons…the calm and knowledgeable guide…
Easy to find the start, it’s about a 5-7min walk from the port. Alfons and his able assistant Monika were great guides. Alfons was a calm, relaxed and knowledgeable leader and I really enjoyed the experience. Bikes are stable and powerful and cater for even those not physically fit. Highly recommend

Helpful and understanding
Unfortunately we were unable to go on this trip as our ship was unable to dock due to high winds. Our tour operator was very understanding and gave us a refund despite the late notice. Would certainly use again if we return due to their kindness. The information we received before our trip was excellent and we were given lots of instructions regarding times and meeting place.

Great fun for all the family
Well organised fun activity for all the family. Easy to access immediately leaving the ship, very friendly and helpful staff. Great activity for a range of ages (our group was 7 - 60). Full 2 hour rib ride taking in some beautiful views with expert guidance. Very warm with full body suit, gloves and goggles. Be prepared for the ride though as it was bumpy at times and very exhilarating. Felt like I was galloping a horse across county so not for anyone wanting a sedate scenic cruise.

Walking around Stavanger
Our walking tour covered all of the highlights of the historic centre of Stavanger. We covered a lot of ground and learned a lot about the history and points of interest. Andrea was an engaging guide and we really enjoyed the Norwegian language and fun facts she imparted. I’d highly recommend this tour. Great value for money.

Fab Experience!
Although the weather was awful I still had a great time! Briefing and clothing requirements easily followed. The RIB was wet but safe. Clear instructions given onboard. It was a touch uncomfortable coming back in driving rain in your face but all part of the experience!

Worthwhile trip that...
Worthwhile trip that doesn’t take too much out of your day. Still a couple hours left to explore Haugesund before boarding the cruise. Although could have spent more time out on the top, beautiful views! The hike up is a little steep, so wear good shoes. The alternate route down the hill through the forest is a must! It starts right after the second gate on the way down. Potentially could have included it as part of the way up. Great job Howard!

So glad we chose this tour!
I was trying to decide between this speedboat and a RIB boat tour. I definitely made the right decision! The boat is fantastic, and the captain was great. We saw several RIB boats. The passengers were so packed in, it looked like they were sitting on each other's laps. We had plenty of space.

A wonderful and helpful guide.
It was an extremely wonderful tour. The young tour guide Hovel (may spell it wrong), was very helpful. We are an old couple, the guide helped my wife all the way up and down the mountain. Without his help, my wife would not have made the trip. Thank you.

Really knowledgable...
Really knowledgable guide, extremely good with speaking English, we connected and laughed/joked about things while learning about Stavanger.
I’m really pleased we went it alone and picked this - we visited so many different places at a fraction of the price our cruise line would have.

Stavanger tours typically focus on the area’s plentiful outdoor recreation activities, such as hiking, biking, and exploring the fjords by water. These activities allow you to take in some of Norway’s most iconic views, like nearby Lysefjord, Pulpit Rock, and Kjerag Boulder, with the guidance of a local expert. Discover the city through a local’s eyes on a walking tour through narrow cobblestone streets to visit landmarks such as the Stavanger Cathedral and the city’s most colorful street, Ovre Holmegate.
