Our instructor did a really great job of explaining each step of the process and took the time for us to create our individual chocolate bars. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour! Fun for all ages!

Very informative, fun, and tasty! Lots of variety to make. Interactive experience with kids made for a great break in history tours.
What a wonderful different experience within Vienna. Jaanya was a great guide carefully explaining the chocolate making process She kept the class very fun. Highly recommend
We had a great time making the chocolate bars and learning about where chocolate comes from. It was a great experience. We are a family of 3 and our son is 14. This workshop is teenager approved!
This was a fun family experience, but it was an expensive one. You can save a significant amount of money by purchasing the same chocolate-making experience from the store. While we had a good time, we didn't feel the experience offered good value for the price.
That said, you do receive a generous amount of chocolate to take home, which helps offset the cost somewhat.
We were delayed and unable to attend
Multiple efforts by us and Viator to reschedule went unanswered- phone email etc to reschedule
NO RESPONSE from the tour event operator
Very displeased
We had a great time. It was both fun and educational. The chocolatier was well informed.
We would definitely recommend this activity.
Great experience, very easy, fun and chocolate tastes amazing.
You created your own creations with lots of lollies, nuts etc. I would of loved banana lollies that would of been sensational
We leaned about making chocolate bars, more like decorating after the chocolate was already prepared. This would be a great class for families with children.
You don't make chocolate, you use their chocolate to make bars. Mine got wet and then broke. They made me 1 replacement bar and made a big deal about replacing the other. It was an ok experience but a bit disappointing - particularly the mediocre customer service.
It was a unique, interesting & fun experience.
Eric was very personable & spent time answering our questions & chatting.
Great and unique way to spend an hour and a half whilst in Vienna, especially if you have kids. Our host was really friendly and enthusiastic and patient. There was a really great choice of toppings for the chocolate bars and choice and of chocolate too. Also found the Viator app really easy to use and had no issues with my booking. Would recommend
I would definitely recommend this activity if you have kids from, say, ages 7-17. Each person gets to make three chocolate bars and decorate/enhance them with a variety of ingredients. However, very young children might struggle (and make a terrible mess) when getting the pouring chocolate into the molds.
As for it being a "museum," just note that there is a little downstairs area with a few chocolate-y things, but that's about it.
That being said, my wife and I had a wonderful time mainly due to our great host, the delightful Anka (sp?). She showed us the process and helped us make candy that we nibbled at and enjoyed during our entire stay in Vienna. She was the highlight of the whole experience. She did say that during the high tourist season, groups can be rather large, which I think would make it even more fun.
Something fun to do on a chilly & rainy day. Fun experience for kids….. we don’t have any with us, but my husband and I are large children who love chocolate! 🤪 It was worth it for the 3 bars of chocolate you get to make and take with you.
The experience was quick and fit in a lot, but did not feel rushed or overwhelming. It was timed and laid out perfectly. Leo was great.
Just plain amazing.my sister and I had a blast!!.our instructor made it fun n was patient.learned about diff.kinds of chocolates
We got lost so we were late. They still managed to accommodate us as we didn't have any children with us. Parking is not the easiest but there is street parking available. The facts about how chocolate is made and making hot chocolate was fun! The chocolate tastes good and there are a lot of toppings to choose from. The kids we saw there seemed to enjoy the process and the instructor helped them with the chocolate so that everyone could enjoy and not stress helping the kids.
Our instructor did a really great job of explaining each step of the process and took the time for us to create our individual chocolate bars. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour! Fun for all ages!
It was a cute experience. I enjoyed the milk chocolate but the dark chocolate tasted off. This is even when compared to the same purchased chocolate. It was very cool making hot chocolate to drink.
It was so much fun learning about cocoa and making our own chocolate bars and hot chocolate! Learning all the history of the how/when/why chocolate all began was a lot of fun as well! Definitely would recommend this experience!
Fun experience, great for kids and teens. Lovely staff. We enjoyed learning about chocolate as well ask making it!
So much fun. Staff was super polite and accommodating and the chocolate making experience was both fun and knowledgeable. I did not know there was so much to learn about chocolate making. Well done.
We had a wonderful time. It was very fun and educational! Chocolate bars and hot cocoa was delicious!
It was so much fun to be with my family and make chocolate and hot chocolate. I learned a lot about chocolate as well. Would highly recommend the experiences when in Vienne.
Nice for kids! The place is nice and they give a nice experience to make chocolate and hot chocolate hade made.
Lots of fun, made 3 chocolate bars and hot cocoa. It was relaxing and hands on. We enjoyed it a great deal.
I thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate making experience. The chocolates I designed were delicious. One critique - please provide recipes or recommendations on how we could recreate these chocolates at home in our own kitchens.
A lot of fun!! I would definitely recommend this experience for those traveling to Vienna! We learned a lot and made delicious chocolate!
It was a fun experience with the family. However there were two downfalls to this tour. Firstly, we felt the size of the group was too big for the workshop space available. Secondly, your limited to two flavours of chocolate even though your given the opportunity to make three blocks
Had a wonderful time learning to make chocolate. The young lady did a excellent job in teaching us how to make chocolate. It was a wonderful experience.
It was not what I expected. It was a quick experience. All you do is stick the mold in the chocolate machine then decorate it. The hot chocolate was made with powder (milk and cocoa). Very different from other chocolate making classes. Not worth the price.
I think this experience is more for little kids.
