What are people saying about Vienna

Informative with enthusiastic and organized guide
Lots of standing and walking but a great tour! Nicole was wonderful. Enthusiastic and engaged. I learned a lot and would totally recommend. The palace is stunning. Gardens are pretty but more trees than flowers. You shouldn’t miss the Neptune fountain though!

The drive from Vienna...
The drive from Vienna through the countryside is a tour in itself. It gives a great context for Vienna in the wider region of Austria. Great rest facilities along the way and an opportunity to see expansive beautiful scenery. More than enough time in Salzburg to see all the sites we expect to see in this part of the world. Timing was excellent.
Joseph was an exceptional guide. Professional knowledgeable and a safe driver. One of the best guides.

Wonderful experience
Come hungry. Excellent choices of food. Our guide Elaina was very knowledgeable about food types and preparation of recipes we tried. It was a bit drizzly and she tried to keep us comfortable and even had an extra umbrella. I definitely enjoyed this tour and would do it again

Great Guide, Tour and Content
How lucky were we to secure Marlena for our walking tour of Vienna. She has vast knowledge of the city and the history of Vienna and we were so glad she shared it with us. She gave us great tips for food, coffee and further sites to discover. I highly recommend this tour. The ear head set provided made such a difference to the tour because we could all clearly hear all the commentary. Thank you

Charming guide, great selection, very filling
We had a wonderful tour with Maria exploring several great eateries with local histories and connections. All of the sites are outside the touristy center of Vienna, and there’s a very helpful tutorial on public transportation throughout. And while there are plenty of pastries and cakes, there is also a savory stop at the end which means you will NOT need to have a dinner. Very good mix of restaurants and local foods. Charming and welcoming guide. A highlight of our Vienna experience. Highly recommend!

Come Hungry — You Won’t Leave That Way!
My mum (70) and I (39) were in Vienna for the weekend from the UK and wanted to experience the tastes of Vienna — and we definitely did! After four delicious courses and a drink, with much-needed walks between stops, we practically rolled back to the hotel.
We were in a group of seven others — three couples and one solo traveller — and it was a really good mix of ages, nationalities and personalities. Ana, our guide, was lovely: warm, engaging, and full of knowledge about the food and the city. The tour felt relaxed and friendly.
A great way to explore Vienna through its food, and something I’d highly recommend.

Vienna Sisi and Gardens tour with Christine.
Christine, our guide, was an amazing source of historical knowledge. How she kept track of centuries, dates, buildings, and the ruling Viennese family tree is beyond me. We never felt rushed but still covered an enormous amount of information. The Sisi Museum could use some updating, but Christine was a very good shepherd. A walk through the beautiful gardens to view monuments and government buildings provided some fresh air. This tour is a must to get you started in Vien.

So glad we did this tour!...
So glad we did this tour! Nikoletta is full of great information and keeps things on track. We learned a lot about Viennese history and culture, as well as some fun stories that brought the history to life. The city is beautiful and touring in this way was an excellent introduction to Vienna.

Still thinking of how good the tour was. Jeremy was the BEST!
If I could change anything about this tour, I wish I could go back and experience it for the first time all over again. Jeremy is THE ideal tour guide. He is so well-educated, cultured, interesting, personable, patient, and genuinely kind. My three teenage sons, husband, and I had one of the best mornings I can recall for a long time. We strolled through the streets of Vienna and learned about it’s culture, political climate, history, architecture, art, and more. He truly gave us some insider information that a mainstream tour would not provide. He was able to cater to our exact interests. His lunch recommendation was soo good! We are going to be thinking about this tour and talking about it for a long time. Thank you, Jeremy!

Excellent tour
Anna was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, despite the rainy and cold weather. She gave us a whirlwind tour of Vienna which is an incredibly beautiful city. We loved going into the churches and cathedrals where we could hear incredible organ and choral music.

Do it!
This might be my favorite day of the week! Our family of five (ages 25 to 61) enjoyed this tremendously! Our guide Alexandra Manev was the BEST! The other participants were so lovely. The 2 wineries we visited were great. The terrain was not too hilly. Lunch was great. The information from Alexandra was so good. I highly recommend!!!

Lovely evening, just enough classical music.
A lovely experience in a beautiful room. The musicians were so talented and personable. There is an intermission where drinks are available to purchase with cash in the adjacent courtyard. It is a very small room and literally not one more chair can be squeezed in so, plan accordingly.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Walking is the best way to explore the pedestrian-friendly capital of Austria. Vienna walking tours are available for a variety of time frames and interests. You can spend as little as an hour with a guide who will point out not only key sightseeing highlights but also favorite restaurants and shops. Or choose a longer excursion that delves into the city’s cuisine, history, music, or even haunted locales. There are also private walking tours geared toward families and itineraries that cover the world-famous Christmas markets.
