What are people saying about Lucerne

Relaxation at it s best with breathtaking views
The spa was super clean, very relaxing, can certainly spend 5 hours of
Pure peace! My husband had a massage that he really appreciated! We would recommend!
Our only recommendation would be to give a little more info on how to get at the location. The meeting point was not a meeting point is was just to get to the spa…very simple when you know that…this part was a bit confusing for us…

Laszlo was great
Laszo did a great job of giving my wife and me a good overview of Lucerne. There was an issue with the follow on boat trip tickets and he took care of that quickly. He also is very good of answering questions from people in the tour. Definitely a 5 star tour.

Great day to the top of...
Great day to the top of Mt Rigi. Dress in layers and wear good walking shoes . We went on May 20th and it was cold, foggy and windy at the top, yet much warmer on the lake . You may have the option to walk down to the gondola ride and it is worth it in additional views , yet at times the walk was mildly steep, thus good sneakers or above recommended. You can take the cog railroad down to the gondola drop off point . Views did not disappoint ! If you are in Lucerne, you really should go to the top of Mr Rigi!. Our guide Rokf was very attentive to our group providing great insight and knowledge !

Definitely a must!!!
It is a MUST!!! It was an amazing experience with a FABULOUS guide. Kid (guide) was amazing, attentive, and so much fun!!!! Kid made sure we saw all the gems on our journey snd he made sure we walked away with many pictures of my partner and I with the best back grounds. He wanted to make sure you “enjoy your holiday” which he reminded us of often. I highly recommend this day trip. Things to consider…. Bring snacks and water. Be prepared for the cold temperatures and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Lincoln, our tour guide...
Lincoln, our tour guide was excellent. He provided history, current Swiss culture information all with a wonderful sense of humor. He was great at providing directions and got us to all activities on time. The tour itself provided beautiful views and a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend!!!

Lucerne city tour
Ana did a wonderful job showing us Lucerne. Very knowable of the area. Truly enjoyed our time together.
Only problem was, we were contracted by another agent. Saying we were to be on that tour.
Ana made the call and straightened it out.
Thank you and for a wonderful tour

Great experience.
Great experience. Beautiful afternoon on the mountain. It does not disappoint.
Our guide was excellent. She was so very informative and made the trip that much more enjoyable with her knowledge. Dont be intimidated by the expansion bridge. The view on the other side is worth it.

Fantastic experience!
This tour was excellent! I typically HATE tour groups, but this was definitely an exception. Sarah gave us a great tour. It was very personable and really just felt like an old friend was showing us around her home town. She told some great stories about the town and some of the locations. The chocolate tasting and cheese tasting were delicious. The walk to the chateau was a nice way to walk through some of the old town. If you also add the boat cruise, the guide will wish you well and send you onto the boat so you can take the departure time that works best for you. She also recommended several other sites to visit in Lucerne and the surrounding area. As we were looking through our pictures later that evening, my daughter was disappointed that we didn't take any pictures with our guide, Sarah, because she was one of the highlights of the whole experience. This was a great addition to our stay in Lucerne.

Mt Pilatus Self Guided Tour
It's a good idea to reserve seats on the cog wheel train or you could be waiting at the station for some time.
Be aware when you get off the Gondala at Kriens that the #1 Bus Stop is not outside the station. It is a 10 minute walk following small blue signs pointing the direction. Beware the bus may be quite full. We had to stand for the trip back to Luzern HBf.

Great way to see beautiful nature
Great experience to enjoy the beautiful mountains and the scenery. No guides, but everything was perfectly arranged. There was no hassle in getting access to any listed activities.
Definitely be prepared for a whole day of action and requires lot of walking. Highly suggest to plan extra time to explore the various activities in the park at the top. It can get pretty busy in the afternoon and wait for the slide ride was about 1hr, but was a good experience.

Must do! 10/10 exceeded expectations
This is a must do day out if in the area! So much to do and see. Recommend going straight to the top doing the ice flyer and cliff walk then you can work your way down the mountain and the activities. As of weather changes they do shut early. Only thing I was say is this is NOT a tour it’s simply tickets so you do still need to line up as if you are purchasing tickets outright and redeem your Viator ticket with mountain pass. This was a long line..
All in all was a 10/10 day and really trumped Mt Pilatus in Lucerne on activities and also price

Our tour guide Theo was...
Our tour guide Theo was super fun and friendly. Theo was familiar with the area and knew every single turn of the street. He was knowledge of the history and shared bunch of interesting stories along the tour. This is the chance to explore outside of the city and also to experience the beauty of the surrounding and the lake. Theo did a great job covering all of them. If you have little to bring along or have someone who is not in paddling, this tour definitely solves the issue. I would imagine small kids who follow along would also have lots of fun.

Modernity meets history in Lucerne, Switzerland, a city with a stunning lakeside perch. The city’s centerpiece, the 14th-century Chapel Bridge, is considered Europe’s oldest covered bridge. Lucerne tours let you venture beyond the bridge and help you explore on foot or by boat. Cheese and chocolate tastings are also in the mix. Plus, Lucerne’s mountainside location is convenient for day trips to the Alps.
