It was wonderful but...

It was wonderful but check the weather before you go. Still a great experience but when weather is bad you can’t see everything. Still enjoyed the walk in the rain forest, and through the towns but would have enjoyed seeing the views had the weather not been so foggy. Driver was so excited and enthusiastic. Tried to make you have the most of the experience despite the weather.

Lots and lots of stairs....

Lots and lots of stairs. My watch said I climbed 16 floors, down then up! Absolutely heavenly, even though it was cloudy all day. I highly recommend it if you are in good shape. I am in my late 70s and kept up just fine. The group I was with didn't seem interested in taking photos, so they went pretty fast down. I started back up quite quickly so I could enjoy the forest and take photos on the way back.

Unbelievable Adventure

This tour truly does include everything you need for a fabulous day. Our guide, Kat, was so knowledgeable about the area, history, and wildlife, she kept us entertained the whole trip. The lookout stops and all the included adventures at Scenic World and Sydney Zoo were unbelievable. Our lunch was delicious and gave you a variety of choices. We had a wonderful day trip from Sydney to the Blue Mountains with Rocky as our driver and guide. From the start, he provided informative commentary about each stop, sharing fascinating insights into the area’s history, landmarks, and Aboriginal culture. Although it rained for most of the day, Rocky remained positive, professional, and flexible, explaining how he could adjust the itinerary if needed to ensure everyone still had a great experience. What stood out most was his kindness and compassion. It was genuinely heartwarming to see how thoughtfully he looked after every guest. Despite the uncooperative weather, Rocky’s knowledge, patience, and care made the trip thoroughly enjoyable. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting the Blue Mountains.

This excursion was fantastic! We were a group of six adults. Our tour guide, Joseph, arrived early in a very comfortable private vehicle. We were able to communicate before the tour by WhatsApp, which gave us peace of mind about our tour that we had booked months in advance. Joseph, or tour guide, was very knowledgeable & entertaining throughout the whole trip. He was patient, a good driver, flexible & always had our best interest in mind. We explored the Blue Mountains & were able to get fantastic pictures & create wonderful memories! If we go back to Australia, we will definitely request Joseph. This is the second or third time I have used Viator while cruising & I am very pleased with them. Excellent tour!

Our tour was top-notch with Dave!

Our assigned guide, Dave Taylor, was a great, flexible, knowledgable host for the day. He picked us up at our hotel on time and adjusted the tour along the way as he started to get to know us. For example, he heard us talk about birds and flora and brought us to places to see each. He answered loads of question we had about Australia and knew Scenic World by heart, as well as other Blue Mtn "must-see" locations. He also found a lovely place for us to eat in Katoomba that was healthy and delicious. Lastly, our weather was very hot today, so he adjusted the end of the trip to help us manage the heat. Five stars!

David is incredibly knowledgeable about the Blue Mountains, the walks and the towns. He helped us see things that you will find hard to see on any other tour because he points out things like the carnivorous plant that only grows in one location on a single rock ! He is also super accommodating when it came to our preferences and gently guided us away from the mainstream. We had an exceptional experience over the entire day. Highly recommended !

Great stop locations plus handy info booklet.

Easy to book - viator sent me email with QR code. Bus driver writes date on booklet which becomes your ticket. And then called the office to get my booking code for the included Scenic World rides. Stops at convenient locations around Katoomba, Scenic World and Leura. Get off one stop, walk along the Prince Henry Cliff walk and get back on at the next stop. Runs every hour but doesnt sit waiting for the exact departure time at each stop, so best to get to your stop 5min early. Drivers are friendly and helpful. And the booklet you get is so comprehensive to make the most of your stay, inluding hiking trail information. Very impressed with this service.

Great day in the Blue Mountains

We had a really good day with Speros on our private tour of the Blue Mountains. As others have said the day is tailored to your individual interests - we chose waterfalls and wallabies and Speros ensured we saw lots of both as well as amazing viewpoints.
