Pure Joy from Start to Finish – 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I booked this experience through Viator, and it honestly turned out to be the absolute highlight of our entire trip. From the very first moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the most wonderful staff team – they were not only incredibly professional and organized, but also genuinely warm, energetic, and attentive. They made sure every single guest felt included, safe, and ready to have a great time. Their smiles and positive vibes set the tone for the whole day.
The food and drinks were absolutely top-notch. Right at the beginning, as we stepped in under the blazing sun, the team greeted us with generous platters of fresh watermelon and pineapple – juicy, sweet, and perfectly chilled. That first bite was pure bliss, sending a wave of cool refreshment through us and instantly melting away the summer heat. It was exactly the kind of welcome we needed to kick off the adventure with renewed energy.
The local cuisine was a feast for the senses: every dish was packed with authentic, bold flavors, from perfectly grilled meats to tangy salsas and traditional sides that tasted like they came straight from a local grandmother's kitchen. It was a delicious cultural experience in itself.
And let's talk about the beverages – what a selection! The open bar offered everything from signature cocktails and ice-cold local beers to soft drinks and creative mocktails. The bartenders were quick, friendly, and always happy to whip up something special. There was never a dull moment when it came to drinks.
But the real game-changer was the music. The DJ kept the energy sky-high with an electrifying mix of Latin beats, international chart-toppers, and classic party anthems. The rhythm was so infectious that the dance floor was packed from the first song to the very last. Everyone – strangers and friends alike – danced together, laughed together, and celebrated like we'd known each other for years.
Time flew by in a blur of fun, and before we knew it, the activity was coming to an end. Yet nobody wanted to leave – we lingered, took group photos, exchanged contact info with new friends, and kept dancing even as the music faded. We walked away with nothing but pure joy, big smiles, and unforgettable memories that will stay with us forever.
If you're looking for an experience that combines amazing food, fantastic drinks, great music, and an incredible team of people who truly care about your enjoyment – this is it. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Five stars all the way – thank you to the entire crew for giving us a day we'll never forget!

A Top Notch Experience!
Both relaxing and fun! We enjoyed outstanding food & fun cocktails, were in great company with those that attended, & were spoiled by Angel & crew! The music was terrific, the sunset spectacular, there was plenty of time to enjoy the water, & we saw dolphins and sea turtles.

It’s incredible! Luis and the crew are really attentive to your needs and are always making sure you’re comfortable. We mentioned we didn’t drink and they were very attentive to that and made sure all of our pina coladas and margaritas didn’t have alcohol. They have lots of alternative options. The private beach and dinner were phenomenal! We were in paradise the whole time.

Rio Celeste, Sloths and Cortez Waterfalls
Kevin and Kristian we're very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guides who made the tour fun and interesting. It was very well organized, the guide in the sloth sanctuary was very good and discovered lots of animals which he helped us photograph through the binoculars. The lunch location was well selected, the food delicious. Highly recommended!

Animal Boat Safari
This tour takes guests on small boats through Las Baulas Marine National Park (next to Tamarindo.) Hotel pick-up and drop-off for our Tamarindo hotel was included. Drinks (soda, water, etc.) and fresh fruit were complimentary and offered to guests on the boat. The tour is rain or shine. The boat is covered but open, I would recommend bringing a poncho (just in case.) It poured on our tour but it was kind of magical being in the mangroves in the rain. Despite the weather, we saw monkeys, crocodiles, birds, etc. The tour lasted about 2 hours and was operated by Native's Way. Our guide was funny and also knowledgeable about the area and animals.

Last minute booking, excellent experience
Was traveling with my husband and 2 kids 14 and 11, booked last minute and was skeptical after reading the negative reviews, so we were prepared with additions change of clothes, towel, kept some protein bars in case don’t get food till very late. I got a text message the day before regarding pick up time which was 6:00 am instead of 6:30 am as listed while booking, which was not a big deal and we did expect it to be a long and busy day! I also got all instructions upfront - regarding packing additional set of dry clothes, full pants for horseback riding( we were comfortable with shorts no issues whatsoever) even though we carried extra full length clothes, we did not know the sequence of activities upfront so we just wore shorts and tshirt over the swim wear. Our tour guide Armando was excellent and knowledgeable, he arrived before 6, gave us very explicit instructions about what to expect-when we will get time to change and we had plenty of time in between activities to switch quick into water shoes and dry off, it was a Packed day with 4 activities so we were not expecting much room. He did take us to a breakfast place prior to reaching the adventure venue ( self paid not included in package and we got decent options there and we did take advantage of that!), lunch (delicious) was at 1-1:15 pm and worked well since we had a breakfast at 8. We did receive our pictures as well via email- I was really worried about that since some reviews said it was a scam. You can take your phone as long as you are it’s secured well and in a waterproof case; it was strongly discouraged and we did not know what we were getting into so we left it with our stuff in the bus and hence opted for pictures, people from some other groups were carrying phones. Our minibus had plenty of room - our party had 11 people total in a bus that could seat 15-16 people; there was a water cooler with bottled water provided by Armando in the bus. Horseback riding was appx 45 mins, tubing 1:30-2hrs, canopying was around 1-1:30
Hr and hot spring was 1 hr so total time was 5-6hrs. All in all money well spent. We were picked and dropped at JW Marriott (7pm) but it’s almost 2:30-3 hrs from the venue. Do it! Kids and adults all loved it.

This tour is a must!
What an amazing day spent exploring Costa Rica with Carlos! We had scheduled a nature walk, waterfall hike and tubing down the Rio Celeste. Unfortunately, due to a large storm a few days before we arrived, the roads to get to the waterfall hike were impassable. Carlos quickly pivoted and offered to take us on a coffee and chocolate tour, which we were planning to do later in the week. I was able to cancel the other reservation and the tour he took us on was perfect. The whole day was great, seeing many animals and wildlife, most incredible was a young sloth suspended only about 6 feet off the ground. The river tubing was so much fun and Carlos made extra efforts to get the photos and videos from the tubing guide which we greatly appreciated!
Don’t hesitate to book this trip, you won’t regret it!

Wonderful
The food and drinks were great. The weather from the tropical storm had the water not clear enough for snorkeling. I wish they would have had some life jackets instead of pool noodles especially for people like my husband that can’t float. One pool noodle was not enough for a muscular man that can’t float. I didn’t even have one for very long because I went with my hubby back to the boat and some guy grabbed mine and his and took off. But overall it was a good trip.

I recommend booking this one!
An unforgettable afternoon adventure
Snorkeling was the highlight—crystal-clear waters filled with vibrant fish and even a few stingrays gliding by. The crew impressed us with freshly prepared food that was far better than expected. Unfortunately, heavy rain rolled in before sunset, cutting the trip a bit short, but it hardly diminished the experience. Overall, a fantastic outing that I would gladly recommend to others.

Staff is kind, friendly, professional, and patient. I personally struggled with a class due to my nerves and anxiety. However, the staff was very patient with me even with extra time to help me get comfortable enough to dive. Personally, I was unable to do the activity, but I would recommend this to anyone that wants to try scuba. This is a great place to learn mainly because of how patient thorough and understanding the staff is.
Big thanks to Ramon for spending extra time in the water with me trying to help me get comfortable with the activity and equipment!

Wonderful experience! The only potential downside is if someone doesn’t like crowds, the boat can get a fair amount of people on there, which can also add to the fun, but if you want a more private experience than that might be a distraction. Food was good, beautiful surroundings, saw sea turtle, and humpback whale!

Nice day at sea
Nice boat. The crew led by Carlos were fun and helpful. We went out on a very windy day and it made getting the launch into shore to pick us up and take us to the catamaran quite challenging, but they showed their expertise. The drinks, food, music and activities were all very nice. Snorkeling was a little less than it would have been on a calmer day but still fun.
