Easy hike and great waterfall!

What a great adventure! Our guide Jason was fabulous. Very knowledgeable, kind and patient. He made sure we were okay and would check to see if we needed to rest. He also taught us some Spanish. The owner was also very nice, he checked on us when we were running a little late and once we arrived, he didn’t rush us. We loved having the waterproof bag, it was awesome. Supporting a local small business was a bonus and highly recommend them for your next adventure. Great day!!

Turtle Nesting Tour

Saw 5 Mamma Turtles! Incredible!!!

Mamma turtles are my most favourite animal. It was amazing. Our tour guide Louis, was knowledgeable, he picked us up in tamarindo with his pick up truck and drove us to a secluded turtle beach where he knew the mamma turtles would be nesting that night. We saw a total of 5 big turtles! Some made a nest and some went up the beach and turned around. We got to see it all! Louis had special binoculars that noah other tour guide had so he could see the turtles quicker than any other group.

Everything was great! Ricardo was very accommodating and an excellent tour guide. The restaurant we stop to eat lunch, the food was delicious. The coffee tour was fun and the coffee tasted so fresh. It was fantastic. Julio is a wonderful guy and guide, he provides introductions to the specialty locations' guides (Anna at coffee and cacao your; Jessie at Sloth Reserve), who were as wonderful and informative. Saw and learned a great deal and appreciated every moment, provided lunch was awesome as well!! ¡Thanks to Julio!

Family Fun

We had a great time on the ATV & zipline tour. We were picked up where we were staying and brought to the ATV tour start point. From there we drove the ATVs through the hills, roads and beaches, stopping a few times to enjoy the scenery. When we returned, we were taken to the zip-line area about 25 min away and we went on several zip-lines, which took about 1.5 hours. The guides on zip-lining tour were very professional and safety was their top priority. We were then taken back to where we were staying. It was a great way to spend our last day of vacation!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible Adventure! The ATV and zip line tour was awesome! We rode through local areas, small villages, and scenic backroads — a great way to see real Costa Rica. The guides were fun and professional, and the zip lines were exciting with beautiful views. Everything ran smoothly and felt safe. Highly recommend this experience!

Excellent tour!

This combo tour was wonderful! Our ATV guide, Reynols, was very personable and easy to chat with. After watching a quick safety video and signing wavers, he led us on a 45 minute ride to Black Stallion ranch for zip lining. Once at Black Stallion, we zip lined with Horacio and Marcos, who were both so fun and friendly!! As we were getting harnesses on, Horacio challenged us to ping pong… he is an excellent ping pong player!! The zip line portion lasted about 45 minutes. Reynols gave us cold water to drink upon our return and took photos of us before heading back to the ATV spot, where we washed our faces and hands and were treated to delicious pineapple. Don’t forget sunscreen for arms and top of thighs for the ATV rides. Definitely purchase bandanas for $5 or bring your own!!!… super dusty as it was the dry season. And consider longer shorts or tights for comfort with harnesses. I used the bathroom to change out of tights and into shorts for ATV ride back since it was so hot out in mid-April! We were the only ones at Black Stallion- such a peaceful environment and all attention was on us. All of our bags fit in the ATV trunks for the duration of the 3 hour tour. Highly recommend this tour!!!
