The Folk Village was my favorite part. Nice to see a broader range of history than just palaces. The Fortress was also interesting, if a bit of a hike. I wasn’t expecting a trip to a traditional market in Suwon, and having already been to one in Seoul, it was not the best use of time. I would rather have had more time at the Folk Village.

Folk village and Amusement

Ms Lee was wonderful and gave a great overview of the tour. We went to the Korean folk village (mom is a huge k-drama fan) and Ms Lee was able to give points about the dramas. We finished at Everland which is an amusement park. The park is a combo of a zoo and rides which was a great experience. Would definitely recommend taking this tour.

Great day for K-drama fans

We had a great time with Moon. They were actually filming when we arrived and he helped us navigate the sets and get a look at the filming. My mom is a HUGE k-drama fan so she was thrilled The Korean Folk Village was full of school kids when we arrived and he helped us avoid that chaos while providing some great historical info.

History 2 different ways

We had a wonderful private tour with our driver/guide David who explained the history of Namhansanseong Fortress brilliantly. It can be a bit of a steep climb/walk around the perimeter between gates but was well worth it. The Korean Folk Village was also interesting and we managed to see the show/parade before it poured with rain. We toured the complex with the rain but still had a great time exploring the different aspects of life between the classes.
