Nick was a great planner, coordinator, thoughtful and detail oriented! He met the needs of our diverse group and ensured that everyone had a great day! Nick is fun and knowledgeable ! He taught us about the cultures on the island along the way to Pinel Iskand in the van. We hiked, went for a boat ride, snorkeled, swam, ate a fabulous meal, had plenty of chilled water, got up close to iguanas and tortoise, saw a variety of fish and enjoyed lounging with beauty all around us ! Nick also captured the day’s highlights through his camera! We have so many great photos of the day! We highly recommend Nick!

We decided to book a private tour in Sint Maarten to move at our own pace and skip unnecessary shopping stops—and overall, it was a great decision. The directions from the cruise pier to the meeting point were excellent. It was just a few minutes’ walk from the ship and very easy to find. Our driver was friendly and accommodating, taking us to all the places we wanted to see. The only small downside was that she didn’t introduce herself, so unfortunately we didn’t catch her name. Although the booking mentioned complimentary drinks (soft drinks, beer, and water), these weren’t offered initially—we had to ask for them later on. Our final requested stop was Maho Beach, and we were hoping to stay a bit longer (until around 2:00–2:30 PM). However, we were told we had to be back in Philipsburg by 2:00 PM to finish the tour. That was a bit disappointing, especially since it was a private tour and we would have gladly paid extra for more time—particularly as the beach wasn’t crowded that day. Despite that, we would still recommend Pelican Tours, especially for first-time visitors to Sint Maarten

Ask for Anthony! He was our driver and tour guide and he provided great information and explanation to things we were seeing, whether drive by or an actual stop. We really appreciated that he suggested we do Maho Beach first as it was less packed. He did a great job with 14 of us and was always by the van if we wanted to sit in earlier than departure time due to the heat.
